So have finally sorted out my meal plan, any advice much appreciated! All new restaurants to us so wasn't sure on timings etc but hoping they are okay? Our kids are boys 11 and 8 and girl 4.

Sunday 23rd December : arrival day not decided on dinner yet, any recommendations? I have booked inventions Xmas brunch but after hearing its even more expensive than the regular Sunday brunch I think I will have to cancel :sad2:

Monday 24th December:
Lunch:Auberge de cendrillions for the girls and plaza gardens for the boys booked for 12pm.

Dinner: rainforest cafe - can I book here?

Tuesday 25th December :
Lunch: booked Walts Dreams menu for 12.30pm - wasn't sure if I should go for normal menu or if it was likely to be very busy Xmas day and will need the viewing area? Also does the Xmas cavalcade go down Main Street?

Dinner: Buffalo Bills Wild West show at 6.30pm not booked yet but thought it might be nice to do Xmas day as not done it before? Will it definitely be finished and back in the park for dreams though? Park closes at 10pm.

Wednesday 26th December:
Lunch: cafe mickey booked for 12:15. Last day! Am I rot in thinking cafe mickey have characters there for lunch at this time?

Thank you!

Re 23/12 - If it's anything like the special Halloween brunch that Vala did for the same price it is worth it as you champagne and a gift (Vinylmation) plus the Christmas will be even more special by all accounts

You can read Vala's experience on this thread

24/12 - Rainforest doesn't normally acept bookings - you just turn up. If you are going on the 24th drop by before to see if they have changed their rules as there could be a lot of people wanting to eat in there due to the price of the special menus in the other restaurants around the resort.

25/12 - No idea re Dreams/Christmas day but I would presume that it could be busy. See how you feel and how the weather is as it could be very cold and you have several occasions to see it during your stay

The Cavalcade goes either up or down Mainstreet depending on the rotation so you will be able to see it from a window seat

BBWWS will have you out well before Dreams as the 2nd show starts at 21.30 so bags of time

26/12 - CM has characters at lunch so you will see them no pb

:goodvibes

Great choice of restaurants.

I personally couldn't eat a sit down lunch and dinner everyday.

But if you guys are happy to then it looks great. :)

What a magical Christmas you'll have. Xxx

Thank you both!

The Sunday brunch does look amazing, will just have to work on the other half to convince him its worth the £200+ price tag

2 sit down meals a day.....I have 2 boys, trust me they could eat all day if I let them! :rotfl2:
