Sorry to hear this happened to you Could you share how exactly they got stolen so that others can learn what not to do?

I was trying to do the trade through my kiosk and through a trade window because of all the I was offering and somehow she did the quest before I was able to trade her..

the next thing I know I got dc and I went back to my room the items and the person were gone..

I definitely won't be trading with anyone but DIS people now.

ow i am so sorry not to be rude or any thing but its not really a scam it is but here this,
The person who you were trading took the quest and when u Dc she probably thought u just left u should have asked her to be your friend or you should have used leader

Oh wow! Sorry that happened. Sounds like it could have been complicated though. If you ever have a concern, always use a commonly agreed upon person to help with the trade, such as a leader.

Maybe you can somehow connect with this person again as it doesn't sound like they tried to cheat you, but rather an unfortunate dc.

Also, speaking as someone who has made it over a year never being scammed successfully, always always use smart trade practices. And I hate to say it, but... just because someone knows about the DISBoards does not make them instantly honest. All it means if you have another way to try to track them down, but even then, no "sure thing."

Sorry your trade didn't go well. That hurts.
