MY LSS is closing!!!!!

April 4th is the last dayit was only 10 mins from my home. I now will have drive alot further to another scrapbook store. What is a girl to do.......................

Ack! That's terrible. Right now I have to drive about 40 miles to get to LSS. With the road construction it's easier for me to order online than to drive, sit in construction and then hope they have what I want.

Awwww, that sucks! I have about 8 LSS within 40 minutes of me with the closest one about 10 minutes away and still order more online than I do at the store. Sometimes I go to the store just to look and then, I go online to order it because it is cheaper! Sorry, hope someone opens one soon!

Julianne, your cup is definately half FULL! I was thinking the same thing!
I worry so much about the store that just opened near me, about 5 minutes away. Her store is really small and new...I hope she makes it!

She is having a 40% off starting on tues, but she went ahead an gave it to me today for whatever I bought. I've spent alot of my paycheck at her place, so maybe now I will be able to save alittle towards our Tahoe trip....................Yeh right!!!!

Becky, sorry to read that your LSS is closing. I would be lost if either of my LSS closed. I spend a lot of time & money at the stores. Enjoy the discount though.

Why do they do stuff like that to us. We seem to take it all so personal. In Erie there are 5 stores. and 5 years ago there were 0 so maybe you will get something even better.

Last week I walked into my LSS and there was a "For Rent" sign in the window! I paniced that they were closing. When I asked the answer was a bit evasive but it sounds more like the landlord is "holding them hostage" for higher rent by hoping he can rent it to someone else and force them to either meet the higher rent or move.

I don't think so since there is an empty space next door to them where a Subway just moved down the street.

At least I'm crossing my fingers that they stay open. This one is only 5 minutes away and the only other LSS is more like 30 minutes across town. Beyond that we have Hobby Lobby and another discount store - and I don't like having to buy everything in packages!

I have about 6 LSS in a 30 minutes drive plus Michaels's and Hobby Lobby. One just closed before Christmas. It was small and they did not keep up with the new trends so I think they had problems. Sorry to see them go but atleast I have lots of places to go.

I would be bummed if I no longer could no long shop at an LSS. Not an on line shopper, so I would have magor problems. Sorry to hear about yours.
