Well--it looks like I will not have a chance to do a trip report, but I thought I'd share a pixie dust moment on my recent solo trip.
I was staying at Pop, and had dinner reservations at Boma for 8PM. At 6:55 I was waiting at the Pop bus station for the bus to AK. The driver let off a group returning from AK and I boarded--no others got on the bus. The driver asked if I were going to AK for a dinner reservation since the park was closing in 5 minutes. I told him yes--though actually I was going to AKL for dinner and I thought a transfer at AK was my best bet. He agreed. Off we went. Soon, we were arriving at...AKL! I sure could not complain about being early for my ADR!
