DH & I, and 13, 11 & 11yo are going to WDW from 11/18-11/25, staying at the Poly. We are not doing the DDP (ran the numbers a thousand times), we MIGHT do the DDE IF...and this is a HUGE if...there is an AP code for rooms for our dates.

So as of right now I'm planning on paying OOP for these meals.

Sat 11/18 - arrival - dinner at Chef Mickeys
Sun 11/19 - MK day - dinner at Kona
Mon 11/20 - MGM day - dinner at Mama Melrose w/ Fantasmic package
Tues 11/21 - MK day - dinner Whispering Canyon
Wed 11/22 - Epcot day - dinner at Le Cellier
Thurs 11/23 - Thanksgiving - AK day - HDDR 7:15 - ADR's already made
Fri 11/24 - open day - dinner at Coral Reef
Sat 11/25 - leave - breakfast either 1900 Park Fare or Kona

Thoughts opinions?

I only have 3 weeks to finalize these beofre I have to call.

We've been everywhere but Kona and Coral Reef and love them all! You're going to have a great time at the HDDR! We've done 1900 for dinner, but will be doing 1900 for breakfast for the first time this upcoming trip. I'll let you know if it's good! Enjoy-they look great to me! :thumbsup2

Coral Reef - excellent

WCC - not my cup of tea because of the 'antics' but the food is excellent

Chef Mickey's - only done breakfast there but food was good and character interaction was the best!

Fantasmic Pkg - Never done Mama Melrose but H&V sucked IMO so I'd go with MM next time.

1900 Park Fare - only done dinner there but food was good and character interaction was wonderful.

My favorite restaurant by far was Ohana--we loved the food and the atmosphere. I understand, though we did not do this, that you can see the Disney fireworks from the Poly. We are also going 11/17 (Friday) to 11/21 (Wed) this year!

Thanks everyone. I think I'm done. I might switch some of the dates, move Coral Reef to Monday and MM to Friday, but I think I'm set with WHERE we are going to eat.

lloks good, but...
Whispering Canyon has good food, but is really noisy, especially if a certain person I shall not name is still working there and singing "In the Jungle" and Chicago"
Dinner Package-It used to be free!! You just ate ate one of the restaurants, then you'd get a blue pass that would let you go right to the front. I hear you have a special menu now :(
