My kids, I really miss them

I miss having little kids in the house. My two are not so little anymore and my son is 3000 miles away at school.

Today I was very fortunate to spend time with 5 adorable kids ranging in ages 3 to 8. I got to be the cool aunt and let them eat chocolate for lunch We made cookes and jumped in piles of leaves. I really miss having little ones.

So to all you moms and dads that have little ones, hold on to them tight. Before you know it they too will be on their own.

My girls are 5 and 6, and are in desparate need of an "aunt" to spoil them. I rent them out cheap!

No, really. I am glad you had fun with your neices and nephews today, and hope that you had fond memories of your children at those ages. Thanks for the reminder to enjoy each moment. You're right, it goes by way too fast.

I miss my family too. It's so hard to live far from them. I don't even want to think about my kids living far from me... My mom is jealous every time one of her friends has a new grandchild and gets to see them 'whenever she wants!' And frankly, I am too. Life is too short.

My youngest is 3... and growing quickly. I would love to have another baby, I miss have a little one. We've decided that 2 is enough, and so we're done. Makes me a little sad, actually a lot sad. Oh well, I love the ones I have to peices. I try to remember that I won't have them forever and to cherish the little mistakes they make.

It's hard to believe how fast children grow.

It really is hard. Part of me really wants to have another baby, and if I hurry I could probably do it, but the other part says, "lady are you out of your mind" a baby in your 40s? So I will babysit my sisters kids and get my fill that way.
