My Kaitlynn (granddaughter)

has done soccer .....basketball and now is doing track this school year....she is eighth grade......she is getting ready for the first meet next week......she is signed in for triple jump.....hurdles and also pole vaulting....she is so anxious for the last part.....she went over the pole at 5 and a half foot for her first try and is hoping to be able to get enough confidence up to go higher.......kids sure are brave....

Girls track is very popular at my DD's High school... the team is large and they have a BLAST! (she doesn't participate after severe shin splints freshman year but lots of her friends do!)

the high school coach was there and so were the girls and boys from the high school teams giving advice........this is so awesome.....she loves sports......but we still call her the little runt red head.....that was her title since she was a baby.........
