Hi everyone!!! I'm goin to WDW in a month and a half---YEAH! We already have our itinerary and I thought I would ask my friends at the DIS what they thought...so here it is:

Friday:
Travel day, arrive at MCO at 10:45, figure prob wont get to hotel (CSR) till around 1 or so (still anticipating SOME problems with ME). Figure we would hang out by the pool, eat some lunch and relax. Then at around 5 or so, we will go to Epcot, walk around the World Showcase, do some shopping, and eat at Italy for dinner (planning on a 7pm PS). We will then stay for Illuminations that nite.

Saturday:
Animal Kingdom (EMH Morning). After Animal Kingdom, I am assuming we won't be there ALL day, we will head back to CSR for a quick nap then its off to the Boardwalk for some dinner and nitelife fun (can't wait to go to Jellyrolls!). I am thinking Spoodles for dinner, anyone have any other suggestions?

Sunday:
Get up late, go to pool and lunch at hotel. Then its off to MGM for EMH evening and Fantasmic! Can anyone tell me what time Fantasmic usually starts if the park closes at 9pm? And if its EMH evening that nite, will the park stay open till midnite??

Monday:
Epcot (EMH Morning). We plan to spend the entire day there, taking our time and enjoying the beautiful grounds. Maybe some lunch in China or England (any other suggestions?!?)...

Tuesday:
Typhoon Lagoon (My BF is OBSESSED with water rides) in the morning till about 2, then back to CSR for a nap. That nite its dinner at Wolfgang Puck at Downtown Disney and then some nitelife at Pleasure Island.

Wednesday:
Magic Kingdom. Since its EMH evening that day we plan to come back in the middle of the day for a nap or swim in the pool. We are gonna try to see Wishes and Spectro that nite, but not gonna go tooo crazy. Don't plan on making any PS's that day, but if anyone thinks we absolutely should let me know!

Thursday:
We are leaving this day wide open, just incase we don't get to do something in one of the parks (we have a 'hopper' so can go from one to the other). OR we may go to US that day (not sure about our funds though, would rather spend on a nice dinner). I'm thinking maybe a PS at California Grill that nite since its our last nite, but dont want to be locked into it...any other suggestions for a nice dinner???

Friday:
Since our flight doesn't leave till 7pm, we plan to check out and head over to Magic Kingdom again, going out with a bang!

Any suggestions, comments would be so helpful!!!

Thanks :flower:

This sounds good. You want to make sure that they are having an E-Ride Night on the evenings in which you are planning for this. Extra Magic Hour is only in the mornings and it is only an hour before the park opens. E-Ride Nights are not free either, they are $13 for each night. The rules regarding this may have changed, but this is how it was in January when I was there.

Fantasmic will probably start at 7:30 if the park closes at 9. MAKE SURE TO GET THERE 60-90 MINUTES IN ADVANCE for great center section seating.

Any questions, you can contact me. Hope you have a great trip.

They do not have E-ride nights anymore. There is EMH in the morning and evening and different parks. It is 1 hour in the morning and upto 3hrs in the eveining. It is free but I believe you must get a wristband?! :confused3 Your Intinerary sounds pretty good to me! HOve a great trip!!!

I'm confused...On the disney website (www.disneyworld.com), they have EMH posted for both morning AND evening hours. I thought that they are for the evening as well. I know about E-ride nites, but thought that was separate all together...I'm going to check the website again, maybe I misread. Thanks for responding!

WHEW! Thanks for clearing that up, thought I misread. WHere and how do I get a wristband? I see you are going in 26 days, have a GREAT trip!!

Hi Erica! I think you did a great job with your planning! If you can't get California Grill for your nice dinner, I'd suggest Narcoossee's over at the Grand Floridian. We had an awesome meal there, and watched Wishes from the porch (just left our meals right on the table, grabbed our glasses of wine and headed out to the veranda - just don't stand in front of anyone sitting at a window seat inside! LOL!).

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks Harambe! I will check out the Narcoossee's menu on allearsnet.com!

I have another question for you DISers out there---I am contemplating renting a car. I can get a pretty good discount through the American Psychological Association (I am a member) with Alamo and I am trying to figure out if its worth it to have my own car...any thoughts?!?
