My job interview yesterday............

went great. She raved how wonderful my resume is and that I was the first she wanted to meet.


BUT, even though this is a medical clinic, they offer NO health insurance. She thinks everyone should invest in Medical Savings Plans. Since I have asthma and kidney stones, with what she is able to pay at this time, I don't think this will be the job for me. After taxes, bring home woud not cover everything. but, I did really like her and her staff!!

She is going to interview some more and call me next week, but she understands that insurance may be a hold up. She gave me a web site to look at for a medical savings account, but admited that it might have a rider for pre-existing health issues.

But, I have an interview with the Texas Workforce Commission Tuesday morning. Maybe they will offer insurnace and be able to pay more.

Great to hear the positive feedback you got Carol. Insurance is the only thing that is not a factor for me. My DW works for Anthem/ Blue Cross & Blue Shield of CT and I am covered on her insurance. Alittle less than 4 hours until my interview. I actualy worked at this place 20 years ago and the woman that is going to interview me remembers me so maybe this will work out. I'll be leaving for the weekend right after the interview. I'll post over on Who feels like a thread killer on Monday afternoon about the results.
