My invisible reservation!

I realize that because I booked our cruise through an agent, I currently can't see my reservation in the system. Is there a point in time when I will be able to see it there? Is it determined by how far in advance you are looking?

Is there a way to tell someone to make it "visible"?

I don't believe so. Whenever I've booked through an agent, I haven't been able to review my reservation online. Dreams Unlimited even gives you the DCL reservation number, but I can't use that to view it. The agent should be able to get you a written confirmation, though.

I've booked 2 cruises through DCL and 1 through Small World Travel. All have been visible on the DCL site. You may have to experiment with the phone number field - but they should be available. None of the cruises were booked via the website - so when I went to the website - it said - no cruises found - and then I had to search for the reservation number.

The cruises I booked through Disney had the phone numbers listed XXXXXXXXXX while the one through Small World is XXX-XXX-XXXX. It definitely makes a difference.

Thanks, all. I made my reservation through Dreams Unlimited. How soon after they take my deposit should I be able to see it? In fact, a better question... how soon after I give them the money for a deposit, and after I see it get posted to the credit card should I see any paperwork or email, which I could use to follow up for a res #?

Ok I tried all kinds of ways to make my ressie appear on Disney's website and nothing worked. Any more suggestions? BTW, I booked thru DU.

I called DCL on this same issue.

If you do not book through them, it will not show up on the website.

I just checked again - the reservation I made through Small World is indeed visible on their website. JillJill - try using your TAs phone number instead of yours - both 800 and direct.

There is only one reservation system at the DCL - it would be a logistical nightmare to try and run two systems with different reservations.

The information is on there - you just have to figure out how it got entered. One thing you might do - is call DCL and see what phone number is listed as the contact.
