I thought it would be real cool to rent a 2 bedroom at OKW (thru DVC'ers) while on vaca. It needs to be a 2 bedroom since there are 7 of us. We would have stayed Sun-Fri and stayed elsewhere for the first weekend and somewhere else for the second. I thought it would be a great way to check out other resorts too. Granted it would have costed a little more, but I figured we could make the difference up. Anyways, he said he doesn't want to because he doesn't want to keep moving around.
I am not happy about this! LOL I was really looking forward to it because it is our last family vacation before my son leaves for the military. I suppose if was only one time we had to move he might agree, but I can't afford a weekend stay, not without one heck of a deal! I'm sooo bummed!
I tried to tell him it wouldn't be a hassle to move (well, maybe it would a little) but nope...he wouldn't even consider it! Not even the 2 person jacuzzi could do it  Although his ears did perk up a bit when I mentioned that.....MEN!
Any ways to convince him???
Please, Please, Please.........

I dont know when you are going but if its in the off season you might just go ahead and rent the weekend points. We are going in Oct and our stay has a weekend right in the middle. We are just staying put. There are 6 of us (and I do ALL the packing) no way am I doing all that when I could be having fun, lol.

When you figure it out, let me know.
I had someone lined up that we could rent points from, and my DH said, "We won't be spending that much time in the room".

I keep telling him it will pay for itself, but he is not listening.
We will be taking DD's friend with us next year and we will be crammed into a cabin.
Not that there is anything wrong with the cabins, I just thought it would be nice to have a little more room.
Someone else suggested two rooms at ASmovies or sports, not sure we want to do that either.

Let me know if you can change his mind, and then you can talk to my DH.

Nope....not off season! :-(
It's in July...of course it was all contingent on avilablility.

I'm still not happy.......LOL

I have 3 little words for anyone who thinks hotel rooms are just as good as timeshare villas...WASHERS AND DRYERS! We stayed at the Poly for a week once and I tried to do laundry for the 6 of us mid-week...YUCK! having your own facilities in the room is so much better. I do a little every night so I don't have to lug a pile of dirty clothes home! This may not matter to a lot of men, but it matters to my hubby and me! We love the convenience!
