My heart is heavy this morning..

We have lost one of the greatest tenors in our lifetime to Pancreatic Cancer....which scares the life out of me as most of you know that is what my DH has.

You know even with all the money in the world, best doctors, this cancer is deadly and my heart is broken as I kept thinking as long as Pavarotti is alive all is good. He passed away at 5:00am in his home in Modena....so sad. He had the voice of an angel...

I understand what you mean. I felt that way remembering how Linda McCartney died of breast cancer despite their ability to seek out the best doctors and treatment anywhere in the world. I hope tomorrow's a better day for you.

Marsha! I know how you are feeling. When I was going through treatment for Ovarian Cancer I bought Gilda Radner's book and it scared the daylights out of me. So much so that Mark took and hid it! He reminded me that everyone is different with different levels and different reactions. 17 years later I'm still here!

We've lost so many wonderful people to cancer but we shouldn't give up hope that cures are there. Here's hoping and praying that Tommy is one that is cured!

Cancer does not seem care if you are rich and or famous or not. I hope you will be able to take this in stride and keep up the good fight!!
