My grill broke! How long do I broil my steak?

I've never broiled steak but I'm not eating it raw! It's boneless NY strip steak. Need help quick!!

I haven't broiled steak in a long time. If you like it medium rare I would say not very long....maybe 15/20 minutes?? Sounds yummy!!!

I have no idea. I'd probably just put it in there until the kitchen smells like steak. :teeth:

Broiling is very quick. If it is thin, check it in like ten minutes. Keep an eye on it.

15 minutes was perfect! I was so afraid of burning it! I've always used the gas grill but I couldn't get it to light.
