[color=3300ff]Every year my grandmother get's a little trinket for my mom. This year she wanted me to come along to help her pick it out.
So today at the mall we're looking at different jewelry stores for a pendant holder for my mom. Well, I was also looking at silver chains for myself 'cause all I have is a plain box chain. I noticed this really pretty chain that I thought would look nice but it came with a pendant. So I just thought I'd look for one another time.
We head to the food court where she buys me lunch (she wouldn't let me pay). Right as I sit down to eat she says "I think I'll go look at the jewelry store right over there. I'll be right back."
I was thinking what in the world is she doing? Now I have to eat by myself. A few minutes later she comes back and says that she found those little beads that separate the pendants and she wants me to take a look. I open the box to find the exact chain I'd been admiring. I was so stunned because I rarely get pesents.
When I got home I showed my mom and she told me that her and my grandmother had actually planned the whole thing out weeks ago. My grandmother wanted to surprise me with a gift because I helped paint her house. I can't believe I didn't catch on and I can't believe how sneaky they were.[/color]
