My Godmother died today

My godmother lost her battle to leukemia today. She was 78 and refused treatment for her cancer. She survived for about a month before she died. I miss her so much already and ive been crying off and on today. I do realize she was ready to go and now she doesnt have to suffer anymore but i still miss her.

Thank you. The graveside service is Tuesday. There isnt going to be a funeral or visitation because she didnt want that. Then her brother and daughter her going down to Jekyll to scatter her ashes.

At least she is getting her wishes met with the no funeral or visitations and having the ashes scattered. She is probably smiling down on all her loving family and friends right now.

Yep she sure is. We actually talked earlier ( my family) about how her, my mom's grandmother, and my grandmother on my dad's side are probably going on about something now. ( they were all really close friends)
