I got a bit of a scare this weekend. My sister's girlfriend - and also a good friend of mine - was held at gun point this weekend.
She was sitting in her car in her friends driveway when a man knocked on the window asking for directions. He then pulled open the door, put a gun to her stomach and took her wallet and cell phone. Thankfully he left without harming her. She called the police, filled a report and cancelled her credit cards. Not much else can be done.
I was so shaken when I heard the news. I am glad nothing happened, but I kept thinking, what if it had. She is doing surprisingly well, like it was no big deal. I am still upset about what happened, and it didn't even happen to me. I can't imagine being in that situation, I would be traumatized.
