My Friend is improving!

My friend, who is in ICU is improving. She is waking up, attempting to speak. Is aware of what and who is around her. We are so grateful. She was given a 10% chance of surviving surgery 8 days ago. They did a tracheostomy on Monday. She still needs the vent, but things are looking up! Thanks for your prayers and good wishes.

That's great! I was wondering how she was..thanks for the update. Will they be moving her out of icu soon?

No. I think that she will be there for a while longer. When they move her, I will drive up to see her. Right now, immediate family only. She has some major life changes to deal with when she is fully awake. It won't be easy.
