My friend in Mobile evacuated!

Just got an EMail from my good childhood friend that they evacuated before it was official--they are in Memphis with friends and out of harms way. Prayers for all the other storm suffering people down there!

I keep thinking about that huge bay there and wondering how high their storm surge will be. Poor Mobile.

I have nine relatives including my 84 year old grandmother who just evacuated from right on the coast near Mobile.

I hope they don't lose everything

Hoping everything works out for them. It seems like the center of the storm will pass so close to Mobile. At least they're safe in Memphis.
