Its been a year since my last FP+ booking so just want to make sure I still have the right idea...

Aug 12-17
I'll be in each park for a day in this order, DHS, AK, EPCOT, MK for 2 and MNSSHP on the last day

2 adults, 5yo DD and 3 yo DS

Priorities

#1 - Slinky Dog - DHS
#2 - FOP - AK
#3 - FEA - EPCOT
#4 - 7DMT - MK

I always book them for early time slots and then add on more as the day goes on, I also don't park hop. We rope drop each day and stay till the end each night.

Does it help to book single FP+ and then add people later or go for 3 or 4 members of my party all at once on the really tough FP+ ressies?

Also does MNSSHP let you book FP+ from 4-7 anymore, that used to be a thing, but ive seen conflicting info in regards to this...

Just looking for some insight from anyone who has hit the parks lately! Thanks!

Yes. There’s no reason to only book for 1 person.

No one knows. If it is possible, the hours would be 4-6. MK closes for regular guests at 6:00p.

I think you may have a lot of trouble to no luck getting FOP on 60 + 1 if I’m reading your post correctly that you’ll be at AK on your second day. You may also struggle with SDD on day 60. I would go right at 0700 to first book FOP, then try for SDD, then the other two you listed. Then fill in the other rides at the parks after you’ve booked those 4. They will be the most difficult. Be prepared to take an evening time for FOP and SDD, if you are able to get them at all that early in the trip. If possible, can you flip the order of your parks so AK and HS are later in the trip? That would make those FPs much easier to get.

yes i thought about moving the days around, but i am staying on site so i lined up the days with the EMH each day to get maximum time in each park. We rope dropped FOP last year and got child swap on it, and rode Navi river with the kids with no wait, while the adults took turns riding FOP. I did not get FOP FP last year, but got all the rest.

Having just rode my first FP+ rodeo, I would try for FOP first. There were plenty of SDD FPs even for a few days after my FP day. FEA remained available as well. I would do:

FOP
7DMT
SDD
FEA

And if there is any feasible way to move your AK day or add an AK evening towards the end, do that. I couldn't get FOP until 60+6 which is departure day.

I chose not to move my days. We will ride at closing on our AK day and if we love it, will ride again the day we leave.

I think you are a little bit early for fp. We are there starting 8/11 and my window opens tomorrow. I think yours opens 6/13.

We really enjoyed FOP last year, and we did a rope drop EMH and rode it within 10 mins of the park opening. We probably waited outside the gates about an hour or so before the park opened, but didn't have to waste any precious park time queueing. Also my child heights are 42" and 38" so trying to strategize child swap strategy across all the parks, luckily my DS3 will get to do 7DMT and SDD. We are basically in a situation where on a 38" ride all 4 of us will ride, on a 40" ride my son will sit out, and on a 44" ride both kids will have to sit out, so i am trying to figure out how to maximize FP+ and child swap based on those variables!

We arrive and check in on 8/11 and our first day in the parks is 8/12, so im pretty sure we are both in the same boat!

All done, was able to score slinky dog (although at 5:30p) on 60 days out, flight of passage (although 5:30p) on 60+1, frozen ever after on 60+2, mine train on each day 60+3-5.

Also I was able to stack in Halloween party fast passes from 4-6

So if you can only get FP’s at 30 days , like we will have, there is basically no chance of getting FOP at all???

it never hurts to check frequently but I got FOP right at 7am, and by 7:05am all FOP was gone
