So...I went to check my mail and look who I saw taking a stroll around the block:

We have a lot of Sandhill Cranes up here, too! They are beautiful birds!

We have a couple at work that meander around the shopping center. Someday, they're going to walk into my store!

Great photos! I've never seen them around the house here but I spot them at the lake down the street usually during the winter.

We have a couple on the golf course behind us, and they are LOUD when they squawk! Especially right about dawn!

I've already grown quite fond of them - one day I saw a golfer chasing them off the course in his golf cart and I was spitting mad (just like I was their mom!)
