It could be or they could be in the process of changing that flight.... I would log into my itinerary to make sure everything is good with my flight still.

If this is for a flight you've already booked, from the main Delta page, login, then select 'My Trips'. You'll get a list of all your upcoming reservations, click on the one you want and it will pop up. THAT screen will tell you whether there's been a change or not.
Of course Delta (and other airlines) know what the most popular times are. I was booking for a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale for next year. The cheapest flight to/from FLL over the weekend and then some... $450 (each). Flying to/from MCO, $220! Now, we have 3 hour layovers each direction, and we fly back on Monday instead of the weekend, but cheap flights!
Since we're still 10 months out, I feel I have a chance on Delta making enough of a change that I can pick my flight (shorter layovers).

The ability to charge more for more desirable flight times/days allows the airlines to offer deeply discounted fares to passengers who are willing and able to less desirable flight times.
The first N/S flight on a Saturday morning and a late N/S flight home on Sunday afternoon are likely to be in demand.
