I would plan to drop it off around 2:45pm.

What time are you picking the car up? The rental period is 24 hours so if you pick up at noon it needs to be back at noon.

I would allow at least half an hour to get to airport, 30 mins to return car and allow 2 hours at the airport in the event it is busy. Plane starts to load usually half an hour before departure.

We always put our return time exactly 2 hours before our flight leaves. So i'd do 2:45 for your return.

I always put my flight time as my return time that way I don't have to worry. It only becomes an issue if you go into another 24 hour period, which I usually don't have because I usually arrive around noon and return in the late afternoon.
