My first Universal pin code

I just received a pin for Universal in the mail. It is for 40% off a 4 night stay. It also included a Harry Potter post card. I don't think we will be able to use it because you have to stay this year and we won't be able to go back until next year, but I am on their list

I'm just curious...how does one get on the mailing list for Universal pincodes? Is there a specific place to sign up.

I know I've signed up on Disney's mailing list, I never thought to sign up for Universal.

We just went in June, so I am guessing that's why I got this one, because it says "Come Back and Enjoy All New Magic and Excitement"

Do you have to stay onsite to get one? We visit every year but don't normally stay onsite.

no you don't.

i have heard of many homies getting pins this year.

i have never received one but they already know i will be back no matter what.
been going there since the year after the park opened........

if you go to the uo website and a box opens up for a survey, do it.
there are times when on the site, you are asked to do a survey.
you list your email address on the form for the survey.

at the beginning of the survey, you will read a statement, something like this:

complete the survey and be included for a drawing for 2 free tickets/passes.


universal will get your name/email when you submit that info in the drawings.

btw, i do numerous surveys and have never been a winner in any type of drawing.

there is no catch to doing the surveys.
they are legit.

sometimes buying items from the UO online store will get your name on a list for pins.

whatever the case, i do hope you get a pin.
i love happy things for homies....

I got the same thing in the mail the other day! Unfortunately our trip isn't planned until 2012 also. I have gotten them before too so hopefully they will send another one out for our time frame .

I got the same offer in the mail, and we stayed onsite this past June also - just like PP. We will be going back next year, but 4 nights is way too long for us to stay at a Universal hotel.

We received one in June for the summer. Didn't use it because we weren't going over the summer time but it was a good rate. Thankfully we also get some really great rates with our AP's.

I got one too, but the dates just aren't good for us. I think it was end of August-beginning of October and mid-November-mid December. I also don't spend 4 nights onsite. We've only stayed onsite once for one night and it was last June.

Wow, they must have sent this out to all of us who went in June! I received one also. I would love to stay four nights, but with family not too far away I can't justify it. If I win the lottery, I'm so going... of course I probably wouldn't need the discount then...I'd also probably have to buy a lottery ticket! Oh, well!!

I've never gotten a pin code from Universal. I get stuff from Disney, all kinds of travel websites and so on but Universal has so far ignored me.

We just stayed over Memorial Weekend and we got the pin code too. Planning on going back at the end of September, but can only get away for three nights. I'm not really sure this code is much cheaper than the AP discount.

We got the pin code yesterday, too. If only it said "2012" on it...
