They have those?!? I had no idea! I'll make M+D take me tomorrow!

We went to the pool where I learned about water safety and became an honorary lifeguard.

Then we headed to Epcot to look at some of the flowers and ride Soarin. We saw a bunny in the gardens. He was so cute and I wanted to take him with me, so against my mom's advice I tried to pet him...bad idea. His eyes turned all red. It was pretty scary.

After that close encounter I got a new Mickey shirt (yipee!) and headed to Soarin. That was awesome. My favorite part is the orange grove. We went to Test Track, but the wait was 50 minutes, so we decided we could ride it during extra magic hours tomorrow night. Me and Koala got one last view of Spaceship Earth before some DD shopping.

Tomorrow we check out of SSR and head to BCV for the first time. I can't wait. I hear the pool is awesome. Too bad I can't go in because of my wet monkey smell. Oh well, at least I can look!

Off to bed, another busy day tomorrow!

What a day! We started out by checking out of SSR so we could switch over to BCV, then headed out to Hollywood Studios. We were able to ride Toy Story which was AWESOME! We waited about 30 minutes the first time through and I got to see some of my plastic friends (Monkeys in a Barrel). I stink at the ring toss part, but hopefully with practice I'll get better. As soon as we were done we got FP so we could ride again. By the time we were supposed to come back, the ride was broken...not the last ride we would try that was broken... Mr. Potato Head was pretty neat, but seeing him twice was enough, I would go for FP from now on.

After that, we went to see some of the animation stuff. Not only did we see Mickey, but Koala got to see Wall-E. He was so excited!!!

Wall-e.jpg

After that, we hit Wal Mart for some snacks...I can't go without my Wavy Lays! Then it was to BCV to check in. It's a little different than SSR, but it's nice. I especially like being so close to Epcot.

It did take an hour with the tech support people for us to get internet access, but when Dad figured out we should just plug into the modem instead of the wall outlet, things worked out fine.

MeandKoala-1.jpg

We ate at Big River Grill and Brewery at the Boardwalk. I had some Wowzer Wheat beer which was great. It did make me a little tipsy, so I had to ride in the bag again.

After dinner we went to Epcot for the rest of the evening. We hit Test Track...so much for the 30 minute wait the sign said...it turned into an hour and a half because it broke a few times while we were in line and then again right as we were about to get our seatbelts checked. Safety first!! ::cop: The wait was boring until I started playing with the crash test dummies. You can punch and kick them and poke them in the eyes and they don't even get mad! Not at all like Mommy... We went to Soarin again which said that the wait was 30 min...and it really was!

Then we went to the Figment ride and walked right on. I love Figment. I wish I had little orange wings. Ok, maybe breathing fire or making skunk smells whenever I want would be cooler than little orange wings. I'll have to think about that.

We came back and headed to the pool for a dip and now I think I'm off to bed! More pictures posted on photobucket.

SSRMonkey - I hope you make sure to tell your Mom and Dad how grateful you are that they took you on a great vacation! We're checking in at BCV on Friday... we'll have to look for you! I love the pictures and I'm so glad you have a dear friend like Koala to share your trip with - Love the photo of the two of you at Epcot.

I didn't know the Earl of Sandwich has pb/j.

Ask your Mom and Dad if you can get the Kitchen Sink at Beaches-and-Cream at the Beach Club.

Good idea ndisneymom- I think the kitchen sink has bananas in it too.

Hey SSRmonkey- did you get cardede at Big River Brewing? You look so young! I hope you had your id! It is a shame about your wet monkey odor problem because everyone says Beach Club has the best pool at Disney.

Keep having fun lil monkey!!!

That IS a good idea nzdisneymom! We will check it out today! I hope you have an SSRMonkey sighting on Friday! :)

I didn't get carded at Big River Brewery. Thanks for saying that I look young...I'm actually 8 years old, but in monkey years that's at least 21! No problemo!

Mom and Dad said the Beach Club pool was cool. There seemed to be a lot of wierdo teenagers there last night so they didn't spend much time, but still cool.

Today we get to do the Behind the Seeds tour at The Land. I love those Mickey shaped pumpkins. We have a big garden of our own at home, so I hope, since I'm so adorable, I can talk the nice lady into giving me a Mickey mold for my very own pumpkin. I'll let you know what happens!

Guess what? I got some million dollar ears today!! Ok, so they are Year of a Million Dreams ears. When we went in this morning from the BCV, they were handing out ears!
MillionDollarEars.jpg

After getting our FP for Test Track (which is working today btw) we headed to the Behind the Seeds tour. I was so excited that I would be able to be so close to a banana tree. They told me from the beginning that I wasn't allowed to climb the tree though. That's ok because I found this really awesome pumpkin that they let me hold.

MeandMickeyPumpkin.jpg

After the tour we rode Test Track...awesome as usual. I like it better at night though for some reason.

Then we headed around the world. I had a little too much beer in Mexico (I LOVE Corona), so the ride was kind of a blur.

Mexico.jpg

We went to Germany for lunch and then headed back to BCV. On the way out we saw Chip and Dale. Everything was fine...
Chip2.jpg

Then things took a bad turn when I asked if he would share the nuts he collected for the winter.

Chip1.jpg

Luckily his handler stepped in and I made it out ok. I got my picture taken with Ariel and she let me touch her fin!
Ariel.jpg

Upon your advice we checked out Beaches and Cream. Yummy!!!! (Thanks for the tip.) I had vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles!

I heard there's a clambake tonight. It says "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service", but maybe they'll make an exception for me!

Can anyone find me?

Off to sit by the pool!

Hey SSRMonkey
Your one lucky monkey
I'm just loving this report
thanks a bunch :thanks: :thanks:

Hello everybody!
It was a very busy evening for me and my family. After our pool time we headed off to MK. It wasn't crowded at all which was awesome. We were able to get on Buzz Lightyear with a 5 minute wait and went back again with FP. Like I said before, M+D don't let me play with guns at home (I have no idea why), so I'm not real great with the lasers, but it sure is fun. I went up about 60,000 points the second time through. Maybe if they would let me do the spinning I would do better. (Dad's not good with the spin thingy.)

We got right into the Laugh Factory and Haunted Mansion and got FP for Thunder Mountain Railroad. We also got to ride my favorite...It's a Small World. I really like the hula girls!

Hippo.jpg

We were in and out in 3 hours and 15 minutes even with a little shopping!

Then we headed off to Wetzel's Pretzels again (I can't get enough of them!). Then a little more shopping.

Tomorrow we're off to DHS before hanging at the resort for a while and extra magic hours at Epcot! I'm planning my annual photo shoot around the world, so check back tomorrow night.

hey monkey! I love your photos.. your mom and dad do a great job at taking your picture and the camera really loves you! You should be a monkey model I think or get into hollywood!

anyway.. I'm glad you and your family are having a great time! I bet going to DisneyWorld with you is really a lot of fun! Can't wait to hear more! Here's a dancing banana for you!!

This is awesome! I'm not normally a big trip report reader, but I'm just a monkey fan. I call my DD a little monkey, but you are an actual little monkey, how cool! :rotfl2:

I love your report and am so happy that you are having such a great time. Did you like the food in Germany? That will be our first stop this year and I haven't eaten there yet. Have a wonderful rest of your trip! :)

I had a huge pretzel. It was tasty...different than a Wetzel's Pretzel, but still good. Dad had a bratwrust (I don't know how to spell that). He said it was good, but he burped sauerkraut all day! I don't know if the buffet is good or not, but it's worth stopping by for a pint anyway!

So we started the day at DHS for our last fix of Toy Story. We got there just as they opened and got FP right away then went to the line. We were on within 7-10 minutes. (That's the same amount of time it takes to bake cookies btw...) Then we headed over to the Muppets store to get Mom a Kermit bag. That Fozzie Bear cracks me up.

Kermit: Hey Fozzie, where did you learn to drive?

Fozzie Bear: I took a correspondance course.

Now that's good humor! :)

After our second (and fabulous) Toy Story ride it was to OKW just to drive around and then back to BCV.

While M+D did laundry (for free!) I watched Jerry Springer. Shh!! Don't tell, I'm not allowed to watch that trash!

When they got back (and I had quickly changed the channel) we went to the pool again. I fell asleep and got sunburned, but you can't tell since I'm red anyway!

Now we're getting ready to go get something to eat and head back to Epcot for my tour around the world. I love this part of the trip. I'll post my pictures later!

See ya!

Hello SSRMonkey! I am subscribing so I can try to keep up with you!!!

Was your bed any more comfortable in SSR than BCV?? Are you and your parents staying in a studio, 1 BR, or 2 BR. Just wondering which resort will be your favorite.

Have fun!!!

Gee SSRMonkey you look so sweet and innocent but with all the beer drinking, Springer watching and mischief making at Journey to Imagination I guess you are more than meets the eye.

Keep having fun! I am loving every minute of your report. Now my DS11 is hooked too.

This is very funny observation, ssrmonkey!

Have a few bananas on me

Heidi Ho!
After a great dinner and a big cookie at The Land...

I went on the fastest trip around the world ever! 47 minutes!

So here's a challenge for all of my new DISboards friends...the first friend to correctly identify (in order) the countries I visited will recieve their own special autographed picture of me sent to them via email... Good luck!

Hi MrsHerbie53!
Thanks for asking about my bed. Here's the thing...in BCV we're in a handicapped studio. That works out well for a monkey who is only about 18 inches tall, but I think I like SSR better though because it's more like a condo setting rather than a hotel. I like my space (and the horses)!
