]Introducing us. Me, the Mum, 33 years old and 3rd time to DLP. My dh, 38 years old and 4th time to DLP. My nearly 9 year old ds, 3rd time to DLP and last but not least my 3 year old dd (who is Minnie's biggest fan), btw its her first Disney adventure !!!
Alarm woke us at 4am. We had to be at the airport for 5.25am. Kids woke very very excited. We checked in our bag and headed for our flight which took off on time. On landing in Beauvais it seemed to take forever until our bag arrived through. Dd was getting impatient. We had booked RS Transports for our transfer, it was a shared shuttle service with another 2 passengers. Driver was waiting for us so all was good.
Our first night was in the Magic Circus. We arrived there around 11am and the line for check in was very long and very very slow! Our room of course wasn't ready so we left our luggage and headed out for lunch. We waited on the shuttle bus and OMG the scrum to get on the bus, unreal!!! We didn't have tickets for the parks until the next day so we went into Disney Village and straight to Earl of Sandwich, drool! It was very tasty. It was a gorgeous sunny day so we decided to do Panaramique. Kids loved the view and dd got so hyper seeing the tip of the castle. We then went a browse around all the shops but kids wanted to buy EVERYTHING they seen lol. So we headed back to the hotel to see if our room was ready. Once again we queued for around 25 mins. Our room was ready so we got ready for our swim. I've got to say I didn't really like the pool there
an area long side of the pool was all cracked which could easily cut somebody's foot very badly. One set of ladders!!! Only had the handrail but no steps??? And the other, the first step felt loose. Very dangerous. The pool water was also very stingy on our eyes. We got out and relaxed in our room for a short while before heading back to the village for dinner. We went to rainforest cafe. By this time dd was asleep in her buggy so they let us keep the buggy next to the table. Ds loved the restaurant theme. We had dinner and a beer and then decided to head back for an early night as we were all exhausted.
Everyone was asleep within minutes, we were all excited to collect our park tickets for the following day. I will be back later with day 2 and all my photos, which I need to sort out and upload...
