]Introducing us. Me, the Mum, 33 years old and 3rd time to DLP. My dh, 38 years old and 4th time to DLP. My nearly 9 year old ds, 3rd time to DLP and last but not least my 3 year old dd (who is Minnie's biggest fan), btw its her first Disney adventure !!!

Alarm woke us at 4am. We had to be at the airport for 5.25am. Kids woke very very excited. We checked in our bag and headed for our flight which took off on time. On landing in Beauvais it seemed to take forever until our bag arrived through. Dd was getting impatient. We had booked RS Transports for our transfer, it was a shared shuttle service with another 2 passengers. Driver was waiting for us so all was good.

Our first night was in the Magic Circus. We arrived there around 11am and the line for check in was very long and very very slow! Our room of course wasn't ready so we left our luggage and headed out for lunch. We waited on the shuttle bus and OMG the scrum to get on the bus, unreal!!! We didn't have tickets for the parks until the next day so we went into Disney Village and straight to Earl of Sandwich, drool! It was very tasty. It was a gorgeous sunny day so we decided to do Panaramique. Kids loved the view and dd got so hyper seeing the tip of the castle. We then went a browse around all the shops but kids wanted to buy EVERYTHING they seen lol. So we headed back to the hotel to see if our room was ready. Once again we queued for around 25 mins. Our room was ready so we got ready for our swim. I've got to say I didn't really like the pool there :rolleyes2 an area long side of the pool was all cracked which could easily cut somebody's foot very badly. One set of ladders!!! Only had the handrail but no steps??? And the other, the first step felt loose. Very dangerous. The pool water was also very stingy on our eyes. We got out and relaxed in our room for a short while before heading back to the village for dinner. We went to rainforest cafe. By this time dd was asleep in her buggy so they let us keep the buggy next to the table. Ds loved the restaurant theme. We had dinner and a beer and then decided to head back for an early night as we were all exhausted.

Everyone was asleep within minutes, we were all excited to collect our park tickets for the following day. I will be back later with day 2 and all my photos, which I need to sort out and upload...

Looking forward to reading the rest! Glad you found Earl of Sandwich to be nice, I fancy trying that on my next trip!

DAY 2:)

We woke in the Magic Circus around 8am and headed for breakfast. It was very busy but we got shown a table ok. It was so so. Croissants I found to be very small and a bit dry. We finished breakfast and checked out of room and got the shuttle bus. We then got on the shuttle for the Newport Bay!! :cool1:
It was very quiet as I suppose everyone was going the opposite way! Check in was very orderly and very efficient. We got checked in and given park tickets and meal vouchers and were in our room by 11am!! I was very surprised.

So we dumped the bags and headed straight for the park. Dd was mega excited. As soon as we got in we caught the beginning of the 20th anniversary parade, dd was beside herself when she caught site of Minnie Mouse  she waved and waved, lol. We followed the parade up the main street and spotted the characters getting off the train, we ran to where Minnie was doing her meet and greet. Despite people pushing and shoving :furious: she got to meet her idol. The smile on her face was just amazing. She was OVER THE MOON. We then joined to queue for It's A Small World. Kids loved spotting all the different countries. Especially Scotland and Ireland. We then decided to head for lunch and on our way we spotted the Ugly Sisters from Cinderella who dd posed with and got their autograph.

We ate in Cafe Hypernon while the kids watched the cartoons. It was ok nothing special but at least we were refuelled!

Then we got fast passes for Space Mission 2 and joined the queue for Buzz Lightyear which said a 45 min wait. Everyone loved this ride!! Dh and I then went on Space Mission while the kids sat and had a drink, we were in and out in 20 mins so all was good!! Then we queued for Orbitron. I think we waited around 50 mins :rolleyes2 but again the kids loved it.

By this stage we were all shattered at it was roughly around 5.30pm so we headed back to the hotel.

We had a table at the steak house in the village for 9pm. I wasn't very impressed tbh but we were all hungry so ate up!

Then it was back to the hotel for a well dreserved cocktail and then bed!!

DAY 3 :)

Woke just before 8 and rushed to get ready for the EMH. On our way into the lobby, dd spotted Minnie at the meet and greet so of course we had to meet her, again! She said 'Minnie loves me soooo much' after getting a kiss from her

We headed to the park and we were running late by this point to went strait to Plaza Gardens for our breakfast. It was lovely and relaxing! After breakfast ds and I got in the queue for Big Thunder Mountain and dh and dd headed off for the carousel. We both waited close to an hour for our rides but both kids loved them. We all met up and had a stroll around taking in the atmosphere and before we knew it it was time for our lunch in the Cowboy Cookout! Wow, the character interaction was excellent. The kids met LOADS of characters, including Minnie again :rotfl2: dd is absolutely besotted!! The food was quite tasty too and very plentiful! After lunch we were stuffed so went back to the hotel for a rest and a swim. The pool was fantastic and it was lovely to swim outdoors in the sun.

That evening our dinner was booked for the Blue Lagoon. Dd fell asleep in her buggy on the walk there so we left her to sleep and we enjoyed a quiet meal with ds. He absolutely loved the atmosphere, and watching the boats go by. The food was quite good too. Near the end of our main course, dd woke starving and was shoving her pasta into her. She too loved looking around at the place. We ordered two cocktails with dessert and they came with dry ice around the base, well dd got the shock of her life and jumped off her seat in fright. People in the tables around us were laughing, it was very funny! We ended our meal and went on Pirates of the Carribean, which we all loved! It was great sailing back into the restaurant.

By that time Fantillusion was starting so we found a spot to watch that and dreams  At this stage ds had climbed into dd's buggy and fell asleep so he missed most of it. Dd was amazed and watched it from her daddys shoulders.

Then we braved the crown of people to leave the park and once again fell into bed totally exhausted!!

DAY 4

We woke again nearly missing breakfast. :)
After breakfast we headed straight to the park and got in the line for the princess pavilion. After a 60 min wait we met Cinderella. Again dd was besotted! We got some lovely photos and dd kept saying how pretty she was. Then it was time for Peter Pan's flight. Dd got a tiny bit scared but was excited pointing out all the characters.
We then left the park and headed for lunch, we went to New York Sandwiches, which was ok, but I prefer EOS. We then headed into the Studios for a walk around and went into Anamagique, which was very good!!

Then it was time to go back to the hotel for a rest and to get ready for the WWS. The kids lost interest in this half way through, so we felt it probably wasn't worth the expense tbh. We enjoyed it and the food though!

After the show we headed to the Sports bar for a beer while the kids went pin trading in the shop! And once again another day in Disney was over!

DAY 5

It was our last full day in the parks :worried:

After breakfast in the hotel we headed straight to the studios. This was the warmest day by far and the sun was blazing, it was lovely! Tower of Terror was showing a 30 min wait time so ds and I went inline for that. After around 20mins there was an announcement that there was a technical issue, it eventually took another 40 mins before we got on. I was worried ds would be terrified but he loved it!! When we were on dh had collected fast pass tickets for it incase we wanted on again!

We headed to the toy story area and dh and ds joined the 60min queue for the car coaster type thing and dd and I waited for 45 mins for Slinky the dog. Both kids LOVED their rides and talked non stop about them. By this time there was just over 5 mins left on the fast pass tickets so dh and ds ran on ahead and went on it.

We then had to leave as we had lunch booked in Cafe Mickey. There was a few people ahead of us so we never got to our table until nearly 2.10pm and the characters were going at 2.45pm so we rushed to meet them all! By the time we finished our lunch the restaurant was nearly empty!

After leaving Cafe Mickey we hired a pedalo and went around the lake, it was bliss just chilling out and relaxing in the sun.

Then it was back to the hotel to chill out and freshen up before heading back for the 7pm parade. We got a great view of that and both kids were shouting in excitement the name of every character! It was very entertaining.

We had again booked Blue Lagoon as it was by far Dh's favourite restaurant of the trip. We only got seated and placed our order when an evacuation announcement was made. There was a fireman there making sure everyone left. Something had happened on PoC ride, I'm not exactly too sure what. So everyone was waiting outside to see would it re open but after about 35 mins, maybe more they were told they couldn't re open that night. the manager was great though and quite a few of us got free wrist bands for the Dreams viewing area to apologise!

So everyone was panicking about where to eat to use vouchers etc. We got to Silver Spur to find a huge queue in front of us. We had a wait of around 35 mins to get a table, by this time it was just before 10pm, and we were starving. The waitress was very good and served us quickly and we managed to get to the viewing area around 10mims to go! To see Dreams again was just fantastic, especially with a better view. This time dd fell asleep and ds got to watch it. We all loved loved loved the show!!

DAY 6

Our last day (well couple of hours....sob)

We were being collected at 11.45am by taxi and had breakfast booked in the park! We enjoyed it but it was very sad. We managed another go on Buzz Lightyear and did some shopping before heading to pack up and check out.

While we were waiting on the taxi dd burst out crying that she missed Minnie Mouse already and she didn't want to leave. I think this is the first ever holiday shes ever remembered and she loved it. She told dh to get back to work quickly to make more money so we can go back soon.

That's the end of my trip report.... For this year anyway! I will definately be back with my pics.
