Alright ladies and gents! I suck, BIG TIME.

I have never once in my life made a scrapbook but have recently picked that up. It's in the works but here is the first page I have ever made :confused3

I like it but seems a little plain. The scrap book is meant to become a present for my man, so I tried to stay away from colors that were to girly.

Thanks for coming out and taking a look :)

I think it looks great! Nice manly colors and very clean and simple so the focus is on the photo. Keep on going! You will only get better!

I think it looks great!!! As you work on, you will find that you will add a little more... you are doing a great job and as you continue you will feel more confident in your work...
Keep going.... please feel free to share more....

Forgot to mention that less is more! My very first page was COVERED in ladybug stickers--over the entire page. I look at it now and think . It is much easier to go back and add a little touch of this or that if you find something that inspires you later on. You will find your personal style and comfort zone. (mine still involves covering most of the page!:rolleyes1 )

That page is great! Simply stated and the colors are great!
And since it's a book for "him", understated would be best. Guys just don't get the need for all the extra embellishments...lol.

They used to call that "sticker sneezes"...lol.
I did the same thing! Stickers were cool! and the more you had, the better the page.
And that god awful patterned paper too! Loud and gaudy....lol..I couldn't get enough of it!

I like it! And omg, what a beautiful couple you two are. So in love and happy! You two look like you're still gonna be together 50 years from now, celebrating your anniversary with your three kids, 8 grand kids and 16 great grand kids! :goodvibes I love scrapbooks and the way they capture such beautiful moments and showcase them in special ways for future generations to see. And now that you have started scrapbooking, watch out, it is addicting. ;)

And may I just say that scrapbooks make awesome gifts? Last year I found my first love on MySpace and we fell in love all over again. :goodvibes I made her a scrapbook of us with pictures from 14 years ago and it was a HUGE hit.

Thank you so much everyone. I hope my scrapbooking improves :goodvibes if not I guess I'll just have to keep coming back here to get some help :upsidedow

Thanks again for the kind replies everyone :grouphug:

I love it! I like that you've still managed to add a feminine touch by putting your names in *sparkles*. :goodvibes

Very nice! I love "plain" layouts, I scrapbook to show case the pictures, so too much embellishing takes away from the pictures in my opinion.

I was very unsure of my work in the begginning but over the last 6 months I've developed a style of my own that suits me and I can see looking through my pages that I have improved since the begginning It's fun to see your style develop as you gain pages and experience.
