My first experience with FP+

Well I stayed up to midnight to make my FP reservations at the 60 day mark. I have read a lot of complaints about the system, but I experienced no problems. I had to adjust my schedule on one day by a couple of hours because of the FP time but other than that no problems. I was able to book the 7DMT several times and the frozen princesses. Actually, the frozen princesses were available on multiple days. I was surprised that I was able to get everything because we are staying 12/19-29. Real busy time of the year. Good luck to others but its obviously an advantage to stay on site.

I had no problems booking mine either, and I was able to get Anna and Elsa, as well as several for 7DMT.

Thanks for the info.! We're staying POFQ 12/27 - 01/03, I was pretty anxious about what to expect. Might not be quite as easy as yours, but feeling more optimistic now!

We're staying 11/12 - 11/22 and got everything we wanted as well, including 7DMT and A&E.

You both say you booked 7DMT multiple times - you mean multiple days, right? Just making sure you can still only book an attraction once per day. Thursday is 60 days for me, so getting my act together...

Yes, booked it on several different days.

A couple of you stating success are showing trips of 10 days or so...

There has bee some discussion that longer trips have the 60+10 advantage so you get access to days before someone who is arriving for a 5 day trip and could only book 60+5 days ahead.

Anyone with a 5-7 day trip having success here for a holiday time?

I also had no issues, except for having to wait until 1am instead of 12. I got everything I wanted including A&E and 7DMT on 2 different days. The only thing I had to adjust was getting A&E on a different (later) MK day then I wanted in a perfect world, but it really wasn't a big deal.

Yes, ParrotBill I have a 10 day trip and I think that it certainly aided. Let's see I got A&E on my Day 9, but it was not on Day 7 which is what I had wanted. I was able to get 7DMT on Day 7 and Day 9. But not on my Day 1 which I really wanted. There were no availability for either MK parade or wishes. But, there was Illuminations even though I did not get it.

I was able to get 7DMT on three different days. I also got both parades (day and night) in MK and Wishes. Although, I was not able to get Illuminations. I'm certainly not complaining.

Yeah ... I had no problem getting multiple everything for my August trip ... But I was there for 14 days. I would not sew false hope for people who are going less than 7 or 8 days...
I'm doing a solo 5 day trip in Nov and was able to book a couple of 7DMTs - but my dates are pretty low crowds with no parties (so longer park hours) - and even though I don't want them for my solo trip anyway, I did notice that there was no availability for A&E during any of my Nov days.

We're going in 2 weeks and I couldn't get FP for A&E and the new mine train on our first MK day and I did our FP at midnight exactly 60 days in advance. I was able to get FPs for A&E and the mine train on the last day of our trip (so really about 69 days in advance). I'd guess that someone who is only in the parks for a few days would have a hard time getting a FP for A&E and the mine train or they'd have to go to MK on their last day.

I did, going 14-20th of December and got 7D twice, once on the first day and once on our last day...didn't bother looking for A&E as they aren't a "must see" for us (though if Olaf is anywhere DW will want to find him.)

THe only thing I didn't get that I will keep hunting is the HM on the 20th, the day it reopens...but I assume they are limiting the number available for that day, but am still trying.

Love fp+.I did'nt have to run around to get fp from all over the park.A couple of times we had to change them by 30 minutes or so and that was nice.We did have a couple of problems with rides being down but were issued paper passes good for any time and any day.Yes I I said anyday!I do wish you were able to schedule more than 3 at first and be able to split them up in differant parks but that another thread all together!

All for different days, on day four, nine, and eleven of my trip.

I have a 4 day trip, over Veteran's Day/W&D 1/2 Marathon weekend, and we could get 7DMT but not A&E. Still haven't been able to obtain even 1 A&E for that trip.

I'm planning another trip for friends the following weekend. They also have 4 day tickets (Armed Forces ones for both of us). At 60 days, I got them 7DMT also, but no A&E were available. I have since managed to get them 3 overlapping times on 11/15, with a combo of stalking the site and the A&E Cancellation thread here.

ETA: I think the success many are having over the Christmas holiday is due to the increased park hours. For us, the combination of only having 4 day tickets, and then having 2 out of 4 days be Party days where MK closes at 7 (the case for both trips above) is what I think really hurts that FP+ availability.

Yes you can, if available.

After your first 3 FP+ have been used. Even at a kiosk you can't change one of your original 3 to be for the same ride a second time, I don't think...
