Day 1 Friday September 7th.
We, Myself, DH, DD7, and DS4.5, left our comfortabe beds in Chicago around 3am. The plan was to stop driving after 12 hours, and find a nice, albeit cheap, room to stay in. That didn't happen. We were making good time, and decided to keep on trekking. We arrived at the Poly around 9:15 pm. We were a day early, but being value season, I was hoping that they had a room available. Boy did we get lucky. They did have a room available. It was in the Hawaii building. We had to pay through the nose for it (concierge), but it was worth it. We got to keep that room for the rest of our stay...free upgrade. Our trip was starting out great. Stay tuned for Day 2.
