My first DVC booking!!!

Ok so did everyone else feel like a total idiot the first time they booked?! Luckily I got someone super nice on the phone and he was really very helpful. But I just felt like I was asking a million questions, asking him to check every resort...and in the end I knew what I wanted. I wanted our first DVC stay to be BWV, our home resort. So, look out BWV, we are coming home the first week in March!!

Yes, I felt the same way! I have had to call back several times to change things, add requests, add ME and it did get a bit easier each time Now I just need to wait patiently for our very first trip home... in 6 weeks

I didn't feel funny....... well...... kind of...... but I had the same experience as you.

The CM I spoke with was very understanding and nice. And we also will be staying at BWV for our first stay in January.

Good choice to go to your home resort. I think your first DVC stay is the most impactful and will be the one you compare others to.

I did my first booking last week and I too felt like I had never made a reservation before . This is going to be our first time going to Disney as a DVC member and we too will be staying at our home resort (BLT). The person I got knew right away I was a Newbie, must of heard it in my voice...and was sort of nice about it. I felt kind of strange telling him what I wanted and what I needed to do, but all in all it was a good call.
