My first clippie!

I just arrived back from my WW meeting. I am down 6.6 pounds since 9/11/03.

It feels great to be able to get my first clippie!:Pinkbounc

I am walking 45 minutes 2-3x per week. I am also doing an easy 1 hour yoga class 1x per week.

Sticking to my WW faithfully! I even turned down a piece of a co-workers birthday cake on Tuesday. I actually had no problem saying "NO" even though I was offered a piece by many different people throughout the day.:rolleyes:

I just started something new last night. I purchased the one a day Weight Smart vitamins and an extra 600 mg of Calcium to take daily. The vitamins are supposed to increase your metabolism, etc. I have also heard that women taking 1200 mg a day of Calcium burn fat up to 70% faster. We will see if the extra vitamins help speed things up.

Just thought I would share!

Your clippie looks WONDERFUL!! Keep up the good work!! Let me know how the Weight Smart works for you. I tried to take them and they made me feel sick to my tummy. I hope they work for you!! :D

I did feel a little sick this morning after taking the vitamins. I took thm on an empty stomach and the bottle says to take after a meal. I will try again tomorrow after breakfast.

I just went for a walk, came back, ate oatmeal and all was well. They are pretty potent vitamins.:teacher:

Just wanted you all to know that I did take my vitamins after breakfast and all was fine!:teeth:

I went for my 45 minute walk afterwards and still did not feel sick. I will let you know if the vitamins speed up the loosing process. I can dream can't I!:wizard:

Congratulations on the your clippie! Great job. You and I are on the same program. I'm doing WW as well (I'm doing the online version) and taking the WeightSmart vitamins. I've had no problem with them and always take them after I eat. I do know that one of the girls I work with tried taking them and said they made her sick. She's going to try again after eating this time.

You've also been walking which I need to start doing! Great job and thanks for the motivation.
 
<b>Congrats on the Clippie</b>The added calcium is a good idea (I'm a pharmacist and I always preach calcium to most women for the bone benefits later in life). The green tea extract in the Weight Smart are a source of caffeine which may bother some people. I think the chromium in them may have some weight loss benefits. Personally I feel a good multi-vit and added calcium with a healthy eating plan and exercise are the best ways to aceive lasting results.
