Ok folks, this is my first time trying to write a (pre)trip report, so I hope I don't bore everyone to death. Anyway, at this time (10:30pmCST, 11:30WDW) in 100 days I will be laying down in my nice comfy bed at Port Orleans Riverside and I can not wait. This will be my second time to the House of Mouse (first trip was in May 2006) and as you can see by the title, wife and I will be more or less child free (more on that below). So for the calender challenged folks, 100 days from now will be September 22, the last day to check in and still get free dining(for all 7 nights of our stay), and since I have an awesome agent from DreamsUnlimited (Thanks Cathy) all my ADRs are set, my hotel booked, and the trip almost paid. So I guess I'll introduce the cast for this trip before I get bogged down in the Disney details.

ME, Vance<-----Longtime Disneyfan and tried for years to get down to the World. I've probably read every Disney guide printed for the last 10 years just so I could imagine what it was like. I was finally able to go for DD 4th birthday. We had this pic made within 30 minutes of getting into MK and it was one of my favorites from the whole trip. While I'm a fan of all Disney characters, I LOVE the Villains...especially Jafar

Natalee, my DW<-----Disney fan and wanted to go to WDW but was never as hardcore as I was...until we got there and I think bought everything possible with Tink on it. Can't wait to go this time, I didn't even have to talk her into it, she wants more Tink.

Nessa, my DD<----I've been brain washing her with Disney since she was born. Movies, Toys, Books, Clothes, etc so she can grown into the Mouse Fan I am. Loves the Princesses. This is also one of my favorite pics from our trip

Loni & Jessie, my DSIS and DBIL<--------This will be their third trip, in the last 3 years. DBIL is a huge Stitch fan.

Ok, so now the cold hard facts about our trip.

Reason: We're taking this trip for a couple of diffrent reasons, the first being my DSIS wanted to take DD to WDW before she got too big and started public school (she will be in a Private K this year). While I was thinking about how I was going to get DD to Orlando (we live in TX, they in TN...but that's not to big of a deal since DW is a Southwest Flight Attendant and we fly free) DW and I decided that we should go. We've had a really tough year (we lost a child in the 5th month of pregnancy back in February which devasted us) and needed a parents only trip. We decided it should be "The Happiest Place On Earth" since we missed alot of stuff the first time since we made the trip all about DD. So while we will be at WDW at the same time as DD, DSIS, and DBIL, we only have 2 days planned with them...our first and last, but we will be EPCOT at the same time so we may try to see Illuminations together.

Dates: 09/22/07-09/29/07, DSIS is staying a few extra days with DBIL for the Food and Wine Festival.

Lodging: We will be at POR (We stayed at ASMo last year). DSIS, DBIL, & DD will be at CBR

Our Plan of Attack:
09/21 Day 0, Friday: Travel to TN, then drive down all together

9/22 Day 1, Saturday: Magic Kingdom, check in, spend a few hours together then split up for the week...dinner @ LTT...we loved it last year

9/23 Day 2, Sunday: Animal Kingdom, dinner @ Boma, this will be a new one for us...I want Zebra Domes.

9/24 Day 3, Monday: Magic Kingdom, dinner @ Kona, another new one for us. I also have the Behind Our Steam Train tour that morning, and DW is going to the GF Spa for a treatment before we meet up for lunch at MK.

9/25 Day 4, Tuesday: Our Off day, so prob DTD shopping, dinner @ Fultons Crab House...hmmm crab...this one will be new also

9/26 Day 5, Wednesday: EPCOT, luch @ Le Cellier...can you guess what comes next...yep this is another new one...I can't wait for the Cheese Soup

9/27 Day 6, Thursday: MGM, dinner @ Mamma Melrose, another new one

9/28 Day 7, Friday: off day, but we have tickets to MNSSHP that night...still working on a costume idea (please help)....oh yeah have breakfast at Chef Mickeys this day...went last year for dinner, so it will be new for breakfast

9/29 Day 8, Saturday: going home day:sad1: having breakfast at Ohana's with DSIS so we can pick up DW for the trip home

Hmmm...any other details I'm leaving out. I'm sure I am, but thats what updates are for. Until next time.

DSIS here. Just wanted to stop in and say great start.

DH and I are very excited to take our niece to WDW. It will be a whole different experience for us since our two prior trips were just the two of us. And since I just found out that I'm pregnant, it will be an even more different experience than we first thought!

How exciting...and how lucky for you DD. She is adorable!!

My DD is counting the days till our trip in July.

You will LOVE Boma. It is a must when DH comes with us. So will be dining there in NOV. He is not coming in July taking his sis my SIL for her first ever trip to Disney at age 46.

Cannot wait to read more.

THANK YOU! At least I'll have one non-family reader. I plan on doing major updates every 25 days until we go. Plan on having lots of pics too.

YEA! Only 75 more days...

Oh, and I changed my Chef Mickeys Breakfast to Wolfgang Pucks for lunch, we just didn't feel like going all the way to the Contemporary

Your trip sounds like it's going to be alot of fun. I think that would be the perfect way to go. Your child can see the World the same time as you yet you and your wife get time alone. Sounds like heaven!!

Congratulations to your sister on her pregnancy!! How exciting!

I look forward to reading more!

Awesome another reader! Yes, wife and I can't wait to get there, and since we took DD last year and she will be there at the same time as us, but with her fav aunt and uncle having fun, we will actually have money for souviners for us..and best of all NO GUILT!

WHOO HOO! Less than 50 days to go! Friday the 3rd was the 50 day mark, but life got in the way and I wasn't able to do my post.

One change from the orginal plan of attack. DW will be going to the spa @ Sartoga Springs for some type of Mystical Forest Spa Package thingie on Tuesday instead of the GF on Monday. She decided she didn't want a nice relaxing spa and all the nice smelling stuff to be ruined by a day in the MK so she's going to do it on our shopping day followed by our dinner at Fultons. Now I just need to find something to do while she's doing that. I could sleep in, but that sounds like a total waste of Disney time. I may go ride the monorail (I really want to ride up front), head town to DTD, or I could :confused3

We're thinking seriously about heading over to the Boardwalk after MGM on Thurday night since we have no real plans for Friday until MNSSHP that night. Jellyrolls sounds like it might be a cool place to hang out, but we're gonna play this one by ear.

Also the trip has been completly paid off :cheer2: so if nothing else we will have somewhere to sleep, eat, and get into the parks...and what else do you really need...

Aahh! We're her favorite aunt and uncle?! I bet that's only because we spoil her so much.

We're 45 days out. I've usually already got the suitcases out and started packing some things by now, but I just don't seem to have the energy to do it. How about you? Started packing yet?

Started packing yet?

Not packing yet, but we did get our (useless) DME tags in today, but I have "booked" our tickets, got the rental for Birmingham, and the towncar reservation made. Really need to figure out our costumes.

WOW getting close now...and I just added another trip in January besides our Nov. trip. It is for Aviva's 7th bday!

Are you excited?

Hi! Sounds like a fun trip. You have some great meals planned.Looking forward to reading more,:goodvibes

I would like to greet my 2 new reades:

dismom9761<-------Yes, eating will be a very big part of this trip, I can't stop looking at the menus.

LISAMWDW<-----Thanks for dropping in

And a hello to my other reader:

Avivasmom<----I am so excited I can't describe it. I'm sure my co-workers can't wait for me to go so I'll shut up about my Disney trip, but they are so wrong.

We are in the final stretch, I can see the finish line and I'm running as fast as I can towards it. Yep we only have 24 days before we check in, 21 until Day 0 which consists of us flying out of Love Field in Dallas to Birmingham, AL to pick up our rental car and drive up to Knoxville TN only to drive back down to Orlando. I know it sounds silly but its what we're doing, and it makes since for us.

Anyway, my DSis got her travel documents yesterday but we haven't received our yet. Hopefully our mail person dosen't stick them in the wrong box which happens more often than it should.

I plan on updating much more frequently with pics of some of our preperations now that we are so close. I swear my life is revolvong around disney at this point. Listening to tons of podcasts, reading and re-reading menus, scrolling the Dis for any last minute tips or changes I need to be aware of. See everyone soon.

Time for an update since we are a week away. Yep, this time next week we'll be somewhere in the Magic Kingdom, dead tired, but really happy.

Anyway I have a few new pics:
102_1745.jpg

Yep, I broke down and bought a pair of Crocs. I've always seen people wearing them, and the people on the Dis seem to love them so I figured what the heck.

102_1746.jpg

Thought it would be fun to try Pin Trading this year so I bought a few off of E-bay. Then a few more. Then more.

102_1744.jpg

Some of our Disney dollars and a gift card that I bought with our piggy bank money. I wish I would have taken a picture of all our change, but I didn't think about it.

A few more:

102_1743.jpg

Our travel docs and luggage tag.

102_1740.jpg

Tickets for MNSSHP on 9/28. The tickets are not very Halloween-ish so I placed them on my Disney Villans towel I bought from MGM last year.

102_1739.jpg

Ahh, the piece de resistance, my DisUnplugged Podcast t-shirt. If your not listening to the Dis Podcast your missing some really great, funny stuff.

I should have some more soon I hope depending on work. If not my last post will prob be on the night of Wednesday 9/19 since we will be leaving out early on 9/20.
