Saw her today and she looks good but very tired, probably due to residual anesthesia. Tomorrow she will have a PT eval to determine her ambulation. Thank you all again!

Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts. She came through the surgery successfully! The surgery was delayed until 12 noon yesterday and actually took 8 hours instead of the originally discussed 4 hours. They had thought that afterwards she may be confused and would probably go to CCU. Well my Mom awoke from anesthesia very alert and went back to the same hospital unit she had been staying in! The surgeon feels that her surgery was successful and she should do well. God Bless all of you!
