My Favorite Author Exchange - Sent/Received

Right at two weeks but maybe it's taking the scenic route. We've had packages do that before.

No book exchange parcel for me today.

This package was mailed two weeks ago? Do I remember Oct 8 as the mailed date??

It should be here soon I would think. Patience is all that is needed.

I received a parcel today from Florida that was mailed on Oct 13 . So, I'm thinking that this package should not be too far away

Yep, DH took it to the post office for me on Oct 8th. I live in MN which is a lot closer to you than FL but apparently that is irrelevant when it comes to the mail. I missed the Friday deadline because my little boy was really really sick. You don't have mail on the weekend, do you? It's gotta come on Monday!

Hey, maybe it will be good vacation reading--you have a trip coming soon!

No mail delivery here on the weekend, so it will be here next week sometime.

I have every confidence it will show up sooner or later.

I once sent an exchange parcel that I could have driven there AND back to deliver it in person in less than 6 hours........ it took 19 days by mail

After Halloween....I'm getting into crunch time sewing DD's costume...and the hard part is yet to come

I've not had time to read either. The haunt is going full swing. I forgot I had to do it Tomorrow (erm, make that later today) too. (groan) ah well, I love this time of year. Of course if WILMA takes a liking, my house might not be standing.... half of the haunt is um... Mobile. Reading will take precedenc when I;m not working my rump off.

Hey GUESS WHAT!!!

My book has finally arrived.

Thanks so much to Julie, Disneymom3, for sending me the package and being patient along with me waiting for it to arrive

Julie sent me the book "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult.

I think this is a book that I will really enjoy reading. I'm so excited to get started on it, I wonder if I can wait long enough to take it on vacation with me in 13 day???

I just wanted to post an update, I was back in the hospital, and while in there, I finished my book from Meriweather. It was so awesome. I loved it, and now asked my DH to go and get me another book by J.A.Jance. What a great author. Thanks again Meriweather.
