My Favorite Author Exchange - Sent/Received

These exchanges are spoiling me sooooooooo much - and I love it! Big hugs and extra thanks to Richelle [costumes are my life]for the wonderful exchange! You really didn't need to do so much[not that I am complaining, mind you!]Thank you for all the sweet extras and the TWO [ not one, folks - TWO] Maeve Binchy books you sent. I have heard of her, but haven't read anything of hers, so I am looking forward to it! Richelle sent the books inside an adorable shoulder bag with a vintage Mickey and Minnie on it, AND she sent 4 little packs of glow in the dark Peanut M&M's [way cool, children confiscated those right away, along with the Cow Tail and Jolly Ranchers that were with it!]

Snowwhitesmom - which Maeve Binchy books did you get? I love her, I think my favorite of hers is Tara Road. Also I started the book you sent me today, so far I really like it!

Oh and I love Koontz also, I have almost every one of his books!

I got home from work today and hubby says "you got something from Texas".

I also had a package from Pampered Chef, but it wasn't nearly as exciting.

My package from Texas was from Kirby!! The book is Twisted by Jonathan Kellerman. I think I've read something from him before, but can't remember. I read so much. Haven't read this one though. Hubby is eyeing it already. I told him that he can't read it until I do. I might start it tomorrow. I'm just finishing up my last cheezy harlequin and should be able to start my new book on the train home tomorrow afternoon.

Also in my box is popcorn (YUM! I love popcorn and just don't seem to get it often enough); a giant R sticky notepad (R for Raquel...for those who don't know my real name); and an Animal Kingdom bookmark (I love bookmarks!!) And of course, a nice little note.

Up until now I was having a pretty rotten day, then when I checked the mail expecting to see bills upon bills upon bills, there was a package lying at the doorstep. It was from Kelleigh1! Wow, thanks so much!

Nicholas Sparks' A Walk to Remember which I've never read and I'm looking forward to it this weekend.

An Avon little decorative orange scented soap.

Avon's Skin-So-Soft shower gel. I haven't used SSS in so long, and I forgot how much I liked the smell of it.

A flower magnet, but I need to figure out what the flower is. Do you know, Raquel, or should I ask someone?

Finding Nemo playing cards (I think my DD will confiscate those as soon as she sees them )

2-year planner with a pressed flower cover.

Cute sticky hippo notepads that I'm going to get a kick out of sticking around the house.

A Pampered Chef Twixit (you're going to have to PM me and let me know when you have any specials. I've been wanting a stone for the longest time)

and a nice postcard of Boston with a personalized letter.

I can't wait for my person's package to arrive.... I am so excited. I can't believe how good it feels to do these. This is my second exchange, and I am worried I will become addicted.

I guess this just reminds me who I am. At Christmas I nearly die waiting for people to open their gifts from me. This is nearly as bad. The idea of getting a book is cool also, but this waiting part makes it the most fun for me.

Just wanted to post real quick, then it is back to bedrest for me...THANK YOU so much Meriweather for the AWESOME package....i was laying in bed (as many of you know I just got out of the hospital and am on bedrest) and my daughter brought me the mail...low and behold was my package...it contained:

~a very cute minnie mouse bookmark
~3 yankee candles;peppermint cocoa, trick or treat, and autumn lodge(which was my favorite)(they all smell so much better than that hospital room!!)
~a bag of M&M's and a bag of skittles(I sent these in the "my favorite candy" exchange)
~a really cool wooden bookmark(not sure if that is what it really is, but that is what I am gonna use it for)--it is made of Oregon Myrtlewood
~another cool bookmark of Tipsoo Lake
~my very own personalized lime green DIS pin
~OH YEAH and my book...DESERT HEAT by J.A.Jance(who I have never heard of) but I am so excited to start reading it.

Again thank you so much the candles smell great!!!
