My dad who has never been further than Spain before has just got back from Las Vegas after the boxing in Saturday.
Following on from the Celebrity at Disney World I thought I would share with you, he is now officially a star spotter, he got passes to the after show party and saw Cat Deeley, Tom Jones, Catherine Zita Jones, Sylvester Stallone, Arnie, Al Pacino, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Bruce Willis and a short actor ????
He has the photos to prove it and is now officially Star Struck. He loved Las Vegas and is now planning to be a Jet Setter, he reckons he is going back to Vegas or maybe New York in November.
I am so pleased for him, Ian and I are still laughing at his enthusiasm, he says America has spoilt him for other places, he has been a widower for nearly seventeen years so to have seen him have this new experience and loved it so much is wonderful. Who knows I may even get him to Orlando.

How fab, Jules! So happy he had a great time! :goodvibes Sounds to me like he'd definitely enjoy Orlando too - you'll have to start booking those 1 beds now... ;)

I'm so pleased that your dad enjoyed his trip. How cool to see all those celebrities. Maybe you'll be able to get him to WDW after all :)

Oh what a lovely story - I love it when I hear of people enjoying new experiences, especially in later life and especially travel :goodvibes :goodvibes

You are right Nat, they def have more money to spend, and I am so glad to see him do it at last. I have no doubt that he wont mind me sharing his piccies with you. I just have to get the camera from him, his birthday was in March so we got him a digital camera for his trip, I will try to get it from him when he has stopped flashing his piccies about :rotfl2:

Jules

What a fantastic trip for him and what a bonus seeing all those stars.

Now get planning a trip to take him to WDW - there is nothing like showing it to someone for the first time.
