My family is going to Disney!!!

I had to post here since just a few days ago I posted my first post asking for advice...the good news... we are going to Disney!!! We were thinking of March 2009 but when I told DH about the free dining he thought it was a great time to go. We called and put a reservation on hold for Sept. Now I have a lot to learn in a shorter time! We chose a moderate resort and they had Coranado and Carribean available. I have no idea which to choose. They recommended Carribean but said we could change once we check them both out online. Thanks so much for your advice, I am so excited!!

We really liked CB, but keep in mind that the main pool at this resort is being refurbed and is not scheduled to open until sometime in September. I would probably go for CSR for that reason, personally. Happy trip planning!

We've stayed at the CBR in 2006 and loved it. We were so busy at the parks that we never even used the pool.

Congrats to you!!! Our first trip was Oct. 07 and it was a big one.. no expense spared. I just knew it would prob be 2009 before we would be back. Well yesterday DH told me to book free dining in Sept WOOOO HOOOOOO!!! This will kinda be a budget trip, value resort and free dining, but who the heck cares, we will be back at the World. We got such a good price, I will be able to have a larger spending budget lol!

Get planning girl, I made some reservations yesterday and gonna do the rest today! Next... planning my little ones outfits LOL!

I am getting so excited!! I guess the first thing we need to do is meal reservations?? How do you know which park will be open early (or later) for people staying on site? I am so new to this...I am trying to start by figuring which day we will go to which park, this is not easy for a first timer (but its FUN!!)

I can relate to your excitment, we are going too!!
It's our first trip as a family. Dh & I haven't been since we were kids. I have learned so much from the forums & wonderful people, but ofcourse still have a lot to learn.

That's wonderful.

Personally, I would make sure I had access to a pool-- September is still summer and it might make a huge difference after a long day of touring.
