Earlier this evening, my ex (we're still friends...we're like Jerry and Elaine) was telling me about a lady who works at his favourite restaurant. She apparently has a bit of a crush on him. He's 34, she's 45. I ribbed him a little and said, "So, are you going to ask her out?" He looked horrified by the idea and said, "No. Ew." I said, "Why not? It's only 11 years. It's not like she's old enough to be your mother."

His answer was, "In 9 years she will be."

Uh...YOU will also be 9 years older, you nitwit.

Yet he continued to insist that in 9 years, she'll be 20 years older than him

when i first met my fiance i was 18 and he didn't know it, he thought i was about 20. i don't even think he found out how old i REALLY was until we started dating. it never came up before, surprisingly.

so then he tells me "if i would have know that you were only 18, i might not have dated you. that's so young"......yet his exgirlfriend before me was only 19(he was only 21 at the time, not like it was a big difference at all.). he still insists to this day, 4 YEARS LATER, that there's a huge difference between 18 and 19.
