I had never heard of the GAC card until I started reading these boards. My son has autism and we decided that we were going to request one on our trip last week. Our first day, before we entered the park, I went to guest relations with my son and I was all ready to give them a full description of his disability and why I needed the GAC and I hardly had the words out of my mouth that I was requesting the GAC when the CM asked me the dates of our vacation and my son's name and we were on our way. It took less them 2 minutes to get the card (and that included standing in line.) She told us to just present it to the first CM we see in a line. We didn't have to use it at all that day as the lines were pretty short. In Epcot, we fast passed Soarin and came back after dinner to ride. After the ride, my son loved it and wanted to go again, but there was still an hour wait, so I told my husband to ask the CM about his GAC card, and they allowed him to go back through in the fast pass line. Bascially, every time we used it, it helped. The wait lines were short and it prevented my son from having a melt down. We had no problems at all.
