My Exciting Annual Pass Dilemma

So, I booked a MYW package for end of May with 10 day park ticket, haven't paid in full yet. We are moving to the Orlando area and to our surprise found a home quicker than we thought and have a closing date about 10 days prior to our Disney stay. Would it be wise to cancel my 10 day park ticket in my MYW package and hopefully secure my Florida Annual Passes in time for the stay? Would I have enough time to do this? Do you think Disney will allow me to do this without losing my Room? We will get our FL Driver's License a day or 2 after closing.

Why don't you just upgrade the 10 day ticket to the FL Annual Pass once you are at Disney on your vacation? or are you canceling your stay?

Your package price is based on the 10 day ticket included. Canceling the ticket will cost you.

Keep the 10 day ticket and upgrade it to an AP at the park. You will just have to pay the difference.

I would call and ask for a Florida resident room only discount. And buy AP with $125 down payment and monthly payments exclusively for Florida residents.

You can get a DL that quick?

Yes, you can. Florida actually requires it within 10 Days of starting work/school, or establishing residency. The DL is printed on the spot at the DMV Unlike some states that mail them to you a week or two later.

We spoke to some people on the monorail last visit who were locals and AP holders. She said they got their Florida APs the day they closed with the closing paperwork.
