My son is starting a new school on monday.. It is a great school with a lot of wonderful programs for him to join.
But now that is happening on monday I am so nervous about him being "the new kid" he has been at his old school for 3 years..but we are moving and it is time to move on..
any ideas would be great!!

This will be harder on you than it is on your son. My boys changed schools mid-year at 7 & 9. They didn't have any troubles. They made new friends & ended up liking the new school much better than the old. My oldest just transitioned to Middle School this year. They had mix-up day this week. As they entered the cafeteria each student was given a card, assigning them a lunch table in an effort to "meet new people". Even though they were his regular lunch buddies, DS knew all of the boys at his mix-up table. (He's not an outgoing kid).
