If anyone knows what types of video games are available at the Lab. He's into, much to my dismay - but with Dad's okay - some of the "T" rated games (i.e., James Bond, Desert Storm).

Also, can anyone tell me how food/snack service would work for the kids in the clubs? Do they have time alloted for them to get food? I mean if they go to the club after breakfast & before lunch, but they are hungry, can they get food?

I can't answer your questions about the video games, hopefully someone else can. But I can try to help you with the meal info.

The club and lab take the kids to lunch and dinner at Topsiders at designated timed listed in the Navigators. It is usually earlier than 1st seating dinner. I think at that time, only the kids are allowed at the buffet.

If your child is hungry between meals, they can have you paged and you can bring them to get something. I do not believe the club or lab will provide any snacks. Nor do I think they will allow you to bring something for the child to eat in the lab.

I can't tell you what games are available, but I can tell you about food. You cannot bring food to the lab, but if he gets hungry, you can bring him food and sit right outside. However, my son was 10 when we sailed and we allowed him to check himself in and out of the lab AS LONG AS I was paged and told where he would be. The CMs were aware of this and made sure he did just that when leaving AND returning. I never had one bit of trouble. That way, h could check himself out, get a snack and go back in.

On our Spring Break 2005 cruise, my DS10 was allowed to sign himself out and in. We gave him a talk about and he had to tell us where he was and where he was going and then call back when that changed. He met several other nice boys on the cruise and they went to eat together and played on the sports deck too.. We just walked by the locations, once he checked in, to make sure he was ok.. The parents of the other boys did the same..LOL..

We just got off the Magic at Thanksgiving and ds16 says this is what he remembers at Quartermasters:

ds12 says this is what he remembers in the Lab:

Thank you for your replies (sorry it has taken me so long to look at them). I know he wants to check himself in/out - not so sure I want that - lol! I'm what you may call the neurotic mother - need to know where my kids are, who they are with, what they are doing at all times. I'm ultra paranoid something will happen. Not enough Ativan in this world to help me with that one
