I just looked over at my cat and noticed that my dog and cat were laying together on the bed. It was so cute. I went to get my camera, but couldn't find it. I finally found it and took a ton of pictures. Jake (my dog) was laying on her side up against Sassy (my cat). And now I gotta take a picture of just Sassy because she is sleeping and she is so cute. LOL. Gotta love our furbabies!
Hope this works!

Sassy sleeping, probably relieved that Jake finally left. LOL.

You didn't share your photos? Too bad. I would love to see your furbabies.

I will as soon as I get up enough energy to go to the other computer. LOL

OMG...........that is the CUTEST!!! photo ever............sooooooooo
cute!!! I am going to share with my daughter now..............
Thank YOU for sharing...............just too cute................

I am jealous...that will never happen here. My Cats barely tolerate poor Winnie. Your babies are adorable!

Thank you! They look cute, but under all that fur are two annoying little devils. LOL. Jake will get really hyper at times, especially when she has to go out. She will also take your shoe and carry it around the house and make you chase her when she wants attention. Sassy has me trained perfectly. When she is being lazy and wants me, but I am in the living room, she will sit in the middle of my room and meow and meow and meow. She keeps getting louder and louder until I go into my room and carry her out to the living room so she can go to sleep on me. Annoying yes, but I could not live without them.

Sassy was like 7 when we got Jake. Of course we had another dog before that so she was already used to big beasts running around.

Sassy was perfectly named. She does have her moods and that picture just shows her personality wonderfully. Actually, she was named after the cat in Homeward Bound. Jake is a FEMALE (everyone thinks she is a boy because of her name. lol) golden retriever/lab mix. I think she is a little bit of something else though because she is only 40 pounds.

Here is how we got Jake for those of you that care:
My parents went to PETsMART to get something for our other dog, Nakita. While they were there, one of the employees we'll call her "A" to make the story a little easier to understand LOL) brought in Jake and her brother. "A" said that she found the puppies on her doorstep one morning. She thought it was her neighbor, "B". The reason she thought it was B was because B told A that B's dog had puppies and she asked how she could "get rid" of the puppies. A said "you don't just "get rid" of puppies. So one morning, A found the pups on her doorstep. The puppies were only a few weeks old, so A took care of the puppies until they were old enough to find families. As soon as my mom saw Jake, she fell in love with her. And of course Jake's brother found a family with another couple that was also there when A brought them in. :dog:

Too cute. I looooove pet pictures.

We had a dog named Sassy who was put down last year. She was 15 years old. She was appropriately named as well. She was a border collie and she was just crazy-would grab a stick to play and then while you were playing tug of war with her, she'd inch her mouth up so she could nip you while you were playing-kind of painful, but she loved doing that for some reason.

I had 2 cats and one of them looked like your cat. Her name was Tigger. She was a great big fat thing-just super loveable. But she ended up hating me after I had kids. :confused3

We have no pets anymore, sadly. I miss having a furball to sleep with. My mom is feeding a neighbor cat and it's so nice-I am so tempted to haul it home with me but my DD is deathly afraid of animals right now. I think my mom is angling to give it a home anyway. I could go on forever about pets-I just love them. Yours are super cute. They look very happy!!

Thank you! I am sorry about your furbabies. Hopefully someday soon and when your whole family is ready, you will be able to get another one. Is it all animals your DD is afraid of? Maybe you could start off with something small like a rabbit or guinea pig or something (even a fish) and eventually maybe she will be comfortable enough to get a dog or cat. My grandma hated cats, but a stray started coming to her house. I convinced her to give her a home after the cat basically lived on my grandma's porch for the whole summer. That cat is now a fat, spoiled rotten brat, but that's a whole different story. LOL. But seriously, my grandparents will never admit it, but they would be lost without that cat. When their dog dies, and I hate to say it and feel guilty saying it, but hopefully that will be soon, they will be so upset. THat cat will make it easier, though.

That is the cutest picture. :cheer2:

Very cute pictures :flower:

My DD is afraid of all animals-mostly those with fur. My in-laws have these tiny poodles, they fit in your hand and she screams like crazy when they come up to her. She's going to be 4 in a few weeks-I don't know where she developed this fear of animals from. Today she even told me we used to have pets-so she remembers them and back then she wasn't afraid of them. Who knows-maybe one of those irrational toddler fears.

I would love to get a pet again!! As a family, we're not ready, but maybe someday...My kids love fish-that would be a great start!!
