We we be in the parks Tuesday-Friday June 3rd-6th. Our plans have changed and we will also have all day Saturday and Sunday until 5:00pm. We are staying at DLH so we will have MM. I think we will only spend a small part of the day on Saturday in either park. We will go to a late morning character breakfast, spend some time at the pool, and maybe go in visit a park around 5:00pm. I know it will be packed- so what will be some good things to do then? Sunday will try for 7:00am MM and stay in the parks until we leave for the airport around 5:00pm. Maybe have a nice lunch at Blue Bayou. Any tips for weekend "wandering" at both parks?? The kids should be exhausted for our flight back to Houston!!! Our girls are 8 and 10. Thanks for any tips!!

We are at Disney now and all I can say is ride the rides during the week when the lines are shorter. We did all of the rides on Mon-Wed, lines were 10-15mins max. This weekend has been crazy at Disney, waits are 60+ mins...we did our shopping and the shows this weekend and only a few rides. Make use of the fastpasses when you can, ride the Nemo one first thing in the morning or the lines will be too long.

That is what I was thinking too. Saturday and Sunday will just be a bonus and hitting the more off the beaten path things! I guess I will just plan on Saturday being restful- sleeping in, swimming, and a sit down meal. I have to rethink some things!!!!!!!!!

You could always make your ressie for BB on Saturday. That way you could go to the park and see how crowded it is. If it is too crowded for you at least you can just go to BB without waiting. And if it's not overly crowded you will already be in the park so you can just enjoy the extra time.
That would leave you Sunday to do anything you might have missed or want to repeat.

Great minds think alike!! I just was going to call to get a PS at BB!!!!

If I were you I would get up early on Sat and take advantage of the MM, stay until about 11 and then head back to the hotel for pool and naps. Those four hours you can do so much as it is usually pretty quiet that early. Then enjoy DD or DCA that night if you find DL very busy! Also you could pick up some FPs before going back to the hotel to use that night when wait times are longer.

Have fun!

I know we will be at Disneyland until midnight on Friday night watching fireworks and F!. I don't think I'd be able to get everyone up by 6:00am for a 7:00am MM! We will use MM days on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

This would be my plan too.

Nevermind, if you are out till midnight Friday then forget the above!

I feel so loved! It's not often I get included in "great minds!":rotfl: Maybe it's because we are both from Texas?

Making PS arrangements on busy days is one of my favorite planning strategies to keep us from spending time waiting in long ride lines all over the park. We get to sit during the busiest part of the day and have a nice meal while a lot of other folks were wishing they could even get into BB!

Must be a Texas thing!! I want to put in a weather request for no 90's while we are there!!! It was really hot in Anaheim this weekend! We are going to DLR b/c I didn't want to deal with the heat and humidity of Orlando!
