Has anyone done this? I searched back a few pages, but didn't see a post. I made reservations for 7/17 which is my mom's 56th birthday and my daughter's 8th birthday. Just not sure it is worth $16/person to decorate a birthday cake :)

We did the party a few years ago. We receive a hat and a plastic cup of punch as well as a cake with icing and decorations. There were 4 icing colors and the red tastes terrible. I know there were also M & Ms for decorations but I can't remember the rest. Pat E. Cake comes out and sings a song. He holds a best decorated cake contest and he can't decide so everyone wins. Then Mickey and Minnie come out for a photo op and then they did a congo line around. I think there was some singing too but I can't remember exactly. Hope this helps. My daughter was turning 3 and refused to wear the hat or birthday button we got her at City Hall. Have fun!

We did this when my oldest DD turned 4. She loved it and had a great time, at that time however, it was only $10 per person. Just so you know, they tell you that Mickey and Minnie won't do autographs. :goodvibes

We visited 2 years ago for my DS's 8th B-day and we'll visit this July for my DD's 7th B-day ~ we have not nor will we be doing the *My DL Birthday Party*

For DD's BIG day *7/3* she has a BBB appointment, we'll have an early lunch with the princesses and then we have WOC seating at WCT in the early evening and then WOC to end her Birthday! On 7/4 we have F! dessert seating ~ it's gonna be a busy weekend but a fun one too!

My sister did this last year for her daughter's 9th birthday, she didn't feel like it was worth it for the price. You have to pay the price for every person who goes in, whether you want to participate and make the cake or not.

She said the cake wasn't very good either

Haven't done this...so can't help there. Just wanted to chime in that July 17th is my birthday as well. :cool1: I love sharing my birthday with the anniversary of the opening of DL. :)

We did this last year & won't EVER do it again!!
It was for my son's 8th birthday....he didn't enjoy it & neither did our 4 yr old.
The cake was dry & the frosting is brightly dyed, so be careful of clothes!! Our 4 yr old left with a red eyebrow.
The host "Pat E. Cake" never came anywhere near our table & Mickey & Minnie come out towards the end & do a quick Conga line & then you line up for pics. No Autographs allowed!!
For the price of a child's character meal.....we didn't feel we got anything near the experience we would have at a meal.

There are other ways to enjoy a birthday!!
