Ok, so I wanted to chim in here after such a great show this week. My wife was in college, and doing a semester student teaching in England, when we decided to get married in Disney. I called Disney the next day (which happened to be Valentine's Day) and made all of the arrangements that I could. When my wife got home a few weeks later, we had gotten a package in the mail, from Disney Weddings. It was a book about 30 or so pages long, and a tear out form as a last page. basically all we had to do was go through this book, and decide what we wanted for our wedding.

What we had decided on was this, an Intimate Wedding, which allows up to 15 people, and dinner at a Disney Restaurant. We chose to get married at Sunset Point at the Polynesian as it was my favorite resort and what we felt was the best location, outside of the Wedding Pavilion itself, plus the pavilion cost an extra $1500 and as we were paying for this ourselves, we went with the Poly. After we were married, we had a flutist play "All I Ask of You" which we were able to dance to on the point there. After that we had a small wedding cake that they had brought out and set up on a table. When we were done with this, we chose to take the lead car of the monorail to the Contemporary because we were dining in the Private Room at the California Grill. It was an amazing experience to walk through the resort dressed up in a tux and wedding gown. We continually heard all of the little kids saying to their parents, look mommy it's a princess. My wife was beaming! The entire trip there, we heard nothing but Congratulations from almost everyone we passed. When we got to the California Grill, for those are not aware, the Private Room is around to the left when you enter the restaurant, and you walk past the open kitchen. When we walked past the kitchen, the entire staff stopped what they were doing and applauded. It was so cool! We had an amazing dinner that night, and we topped it off by going out on the roof and watching the fireworks.

We spent the rest of the honeymoon in Disney at the Poly. Our family stayed as well, which was fun because we would continually run into someone we knew. We had a few meals with others that were there with us, and it made for a great time for all. It wasn't important to my wife and I to be alone during our honeymoon because we had been living together for almost 3 years by the time we got married, so there was no mystic in being alone together for the "first" time.

My wife and I both agree that if we were to ever get married again, it would be back at Disney, because it was an AMAZING, hassle free experience, with no stress or worries.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience!!!
