to bring any type of wrapped package i.e. birthday, christmas, whatever into the parks without unwrapping completely for a through inspection of contents going into the parks.....even if the airlines did not make you open them. Lesson learned.......
This is a good time to invest in gift bags then! I would asume you could open the bag, remove the tissue and show the guard, without the birthday person seeing??...
I'll keep it in mine, I've got an idea for my DD's even though it's not a birthday trip.

and I too was going to bring a gift for DD and DS as we celebrate their birthdays at the park.... guess it won't be much of a surprise if they see it being check in the security line!! Oh well... live and learn!
Thank you so much for that tip. I hadn't thought of it and we were going to be celebrating birthday's with gifts. I think we will put them in small gift bags instead. Thanks again!
