:Pinkbounc Hi all!
I'm just so excited I had to share. About 7 yrs ago we had a "playroom" put on our house. At that time I wanted so badly to decorate in a Disney theme as we had 3 6yr olds. However, $ was tight so we just painted and used decor we had around. When we could finally do it the way I wanted the kids would be "embarassed" if their friends saw it as it would have been considered "babyish". Well, 1 yr ago I had a baby. Great excuse to have a "babyish" playroom right? We just finished the layout and only have 3 pictures to hang. (one is at the framer). The best part of all is many of the pictures are collages from trips to disney since the now 13 yo's were 3. We have our framed SSR picture we recieve when purchasing already hanging. We even hung a picture from DH and My honeymoon (with Mickey of course) that helped ease the embarrasement of the kids at seeing themselves in younger years on the wall for all to see.
Now I just can't wait to take more pictures for more collages. Some may say it's tacky, I say it's the most beautiful room in my house, full of the best memories of my life.

Anyway I just had to share my excitement with those who will more fully understand.

Nothing tacky about it. We have a nearby speed-printer make up calendars each December with a year's worth of family photos. One year all the photos showed our kids at WDW with Disney characters.

The relatives love our calendars and call us up every year to ask, "Where's mine?"

I'm in the process of turning our dd's old nursery, which turned into a multi-use office, into a playroom/guest room. It will be Disney. I already have all our 'professional' WDW shots on the wall. A whole wall of Splash Mt and Chef Mickey's!!!!

Hi Deesknee, What a fantastic idea. We are in the process of FINALLY finishing our basement (for a play room, of course).....you have just put the bug in me! Oh boy, I can just hear DH now. He already thinks I need some kind of 12 step program! LOL

We recently decorated out guest room in a Mickey theme. Here are pics of the current state (curtain, pictures, etc - yet to be hung). (I recently posted these on the Community Board, so my apologies if you've already seen them)

Deesknee I am sure that your little one will love this... and your others will like it also although they may never admit to it.;) I would love to have the space in my house for a room of my own, Moms play room! And yes, there would be alot of Disney pictures and momentos. Of course, when the kids are older and I'll have the space to do just that. But then I won't want it. (or need it)

We have plans for our computer room to be done in the Disney theme and I was wondering about the color...I love the tan!!! Thanks for the pictures.

Wow! Looks like we're not alone! My DW is planning to decorate our master bath in mickey colors and decor. Seeing the pictures is really making me wish we could start now.

I have a DVC bathroom. A small powder room on our first floor that is totally DVC. I stenciled "Members are Magical on one wall and have framed sketches of VB and HH hanging. ALso, a large posted of Disney's first Kiss (all of the characters kissing), also had this professionally framed. Then on the other wall in my member license plate and I put all of the limited member pins around the license plate. We built our house 9 months ago and this was the only place in the house that was decorated. I love it and would recommend it for all Disney nuts!!

Our finished basement is a play room, and of course we want to it all in WDW themes. (mural on the wall of the castle and all) For not it only has poster and lthographs. However we our adding a second floor on house and we really want to do our bathroom just like the ones in the 1 bedrooms at BCV, DVC. Do you have any idea how much it costs to make a shower like that? Much more then a wirlpool tub! Oh well, my dreams are a little crushed!

However our 1st floor bathroom has a winnie the pooh theme, anyone else think that is odd, Pooh in the bathroom? We like it and DD loves it!
