I am really pleased with it.:thumbsup2

The quality isn't any better than the photobooks available here in the UK, but I love the Disney backgrounds and stickers, plus my Tinkerbell cover.:wizard: I used a combination of my photopass photos, the stock photos and my own - they all look great. For me, it was well worth the money and I would prepay to do it again.

A little tip - Because I had prepaid, I didn't think that I would be eligible for the discount offers. I tried the discount code and it discounted the postage, so I paid less than $4 to have it delivered. Bargain.

I'm glad your pleased with it :goodvibes

I agree the quality isn't any better but the page layouts you can choose from are lovely. Definitely worth pre-ordering.

Thanks for the tip too, I didn't realise you would also be eligible for discount offers, thats good to know for future reference. :thumbsup2

is it cheaper to pre order ? i like the concept of photopass but i do think it sounds confusing do you get the book when you get the photo cd delivered?

or get the cd and make the book then get that later

i think the books are lovely and a great way to present and display the photos

did you find it easy making the book?? as soon as i hear words liek download and change file size etc i have a melt down !!

It was cheaper to order the book in advance when you order your photopass.
When you get back from WDW, log into the photopass website, key in the code on the photopass card and you can see all the pics that the photopass photographers took of you on your trip.
You then make your photobook on the same site and can use the pics they took of your group, some of your own as well as some stock pics they provide. It's really simple and no cropping required. You just decide the design of the book you would prefer and personalise it.
My disc of all my pics and the photobook arrived together within 10 days of ordering it and it was fab!

Ooooh what is this?? I have not heard of it! I have heard of photopass but don't know anything about a book? :)

I love our Disney Photobooks :) it's just a shame you can't pre-order anymore as that Discount was nice ;)

Haven't decided yet whether I will do anymore now I have to pay full price but probably will as I love the covers and backgrounds.

The Photobooks are on the photo pass site. You can use the photo pass picture plus upload your own and they have some stock photos. I do our book at the same time as editing the pp photos.

Aren't they allowing you to pre-order now? That's a shame as it was a good saving.

am i the only person who finds the photopass site hard to navigate ?
i cant even find the products ? do you have to register to get to this page ?

It's our first holiday with our son so I like the idea of the photopass so we can get loads of family photos. I just haven't got a clue where to begin with it. If I pre-order it for that offer of $119 can I get unlimited photos and then just print off the ones I like? How much extra is the photo book? I'm terrible at printing off photos and making albums so this may be a better option plus it will be a nice keepsake. Basically can someone give me an idiots guide please???? Oh and can you still get the fun photos taken where they add the characters in?

Yes, you can still get the magic shots, as they are referred to. Not all the photographers can do them and although we have never asked and always had some, it's not frowned upon to just ask.

Here is a easy to follow guide with images to start you off.

Thanks for that. I've had a quick scan of it but I'll have a proper read later when I'm not being used as a human climbing frame by my son!
I'm sure DH will be pleased to hear we've got a new game in our holiday called spot the Disney photographer.

It's really simple - even I could do it! You can add all sorts of borders to your photos on the website and then you can either download or order the photos on CD.

sounds good thanks, and if it's that easy even DH should manage it! I think I'm going to look more at the photo book than the pass as DH feels we won't be there long enough to make the most of the pass. I think he's just saying that so I won't be stopping every 2 mins to get another photo.

You can get a photopass for free - there is no obligation to buy the prints or the CD. I'm not sure whether you can have the photobook without a photopass.:confused3 Someone will be able to advise.

We got some lovely shots with the photopass photographers, some were really good as we didn't know they had been taken. The magic shots are great fun and we loved getting the shots in significant spots like in front of the Castle. The photos with the characters were also really nice!
