My Disney Girl TOO OLD for 3 YO?

In Mandyland (which is a nice place to visit but you don't want to spend a whole lotta time there ), I have this vision of DD waking up on our departure day and seeing the My Disney Girl I have stored away standing on her dresser in it's Mickey ears. But do y'all think she's too young for a My Disney Girl?

I basically bought it because it was cheap (when WDW had its eBay site -- got it for $19.99) and as a sub until she's older and I take her to Chicago to buy an American Girl.

That's just what's in my head...

Nah, she's not too young, let her enjoy it now! We got our girls their first American Girl dolls when they turned 5 - we read them the books as bedtime stories, and they got 7 years of playtime out of the dolls. The Disney Dolls seem a little more child friendly, so I'd let her start the fun as soon as she can!

Actually I just gave my 3 year old's hers for her birthday and she loves it. I bought some extra clothes at Target and she enjoys taking the clothes on and off. My mother kept saying "put that up it's expensive", but that's why I like it, it's not. I bought mine online on sale too and I don't mind if she plays with it.

Ok, y'all talked me into it! Plus, she can pick out a dress while we're there. I bought her doll a Cinderella dress on our trip last September and I tucked it away for this Christmas.

Yep, got 'em cheap too, I think I paid 19.99 but had a code so they were less. I have 3 of them stashed in the basement for Dec. DM is making the dresses to match each girls attire for dinner at 1900 and that is when they are getting them. and BTW, the girls are 2, 4, 5.
I'll let them play with the dolls and "practice" for the AG dolls.
