My Disney Experience question

Hi it’s just me and my wife that travel together I have a log in to the MDE app and my wife listed as family and I manage her plans. My wife also has the app and is logged in with my username and password. So in my profile it has memberships and passes and lists my DVC member number. Under my family my wifes profile doesn’t have a place for a DVC membership number (she is owner on the contract with me, its joint). Should she have her own log in and all that on MDE? Does it matter?

Hubby has just used my username and password for years and we've never had an issue, except that when we enter a park I get the pink light and "Welcome Home" at the turnstile and he just gets the green light.
